At 24:50 the reason why Shipmaster does this super bounce is because when his shields are down and an Infection form latches onto him this happens. Little fun fact that I figured out when I played Halo 2 myself

Doing all the campaigns LASO was one of my favorite things I ever did in Halo. It's fun to see the full path, since I definitely took advantage of every skip I could. Thanks for posting this!

For the longest time I never even considered attempting LASO, but when I looked into it years ago I was surprised by just how doable it was. I ended up beating CE in like 8 hours and then Halo 3 and Halo 4 the next 2 days. ODST is pretty much free and Reach wasn't that bad either. My friends don't get it but I can say I genuinely enjoyed doing those. That was 2 or 3 years ago. I started Halo 2 but somehow the playlist restarted and I had to do Cairo Station twice which killed any enjoyment I almost may have had. I left it off on The Arbiter for when I make my return.

I did this with a friend, Oracle crashed twice while loading the final room boss fight. We endured that elevator hell THREE TIMES.

I'd say Halo 1 and Halo 2 LASO are the hardest ones. I remember Truth and Reconciliation and the Library took me about 4 hours each to finish

@@jennythegiant If you do the grenade jump in the hanger and skip a ton of stuff you can end the level early and hardly have to worry about Keyes. You just have to get him to the bridge and it ends there.

That was awesome!!! Props to you and your coop partner, this looked insane but you guys pulled through. I recently just beat halo 2 on legendary getting back into the campaigns, and its really wild looking at all the skull changes as well. I would love it if you guys would do halo 3 LASO if you're down, that would be fantastic!

This is crazy. Love to see people's LASO adventures and those snipers on Delta Halo were brutal. Also I'm pretty sure this video has the only good up-to-date footage of the classic graphics cutscenes on youtube right now. Love to see them, most videos switch to the anniversary ones. I know it might be because of game crashes but I love to see the originals, best cutscenes in the series to me personally.

The reason why you are invincible after the elevator launch in the oracle level is because when you go up the elevator normally, you are invincible. But somehow the invicibility isn't turned off when you are launched up the shaft. That's why you are invincible for the rest of the level.

14:18 Sesa refumee (heretic leader) pretty much didnt think he would be able to change the arbiters mind on the great journey, so when the monitor started talking and distracts the arbiter he takes the opportunity to try and kill him quickly. Also killing the arbiter might get him more followers.

You don't even have to shoot off the banshee wings to fit it through the final section in great journey, if you enter the door and fly upwards you can get through there

36:40 I find it easier to fly upward in the foyer section of the control room. There is a small place next to the ceiling to get your banshee through. I don't believe you need to blow the wings off the banshee to squeeze through

Two things regarding Gravemind LASO. Because of Black Eye, you start the mission without shields, whereas in regular Legendary, you have shields. For the prison, it is possible to push the two brutes standing next to the gravlift down with brute shot spam.

16:17 You can actually kill ghosts really easily with a sniper rifle by targeting the circular weakpoint near the driver's left foot. A couple hits and it's dead, even on LASO. Unfortunately this does not kill the driver.

doing H2 LASO following a guide with all the skips was hell....i cant imagine doing it without the skips. also fun fact about the jackal snipers for H2. they arent actually as deadly in LASO compared to normal legendary. they cannot one shot you if you have the 2x overshields...its damn close to a one shot but its not

Pro tip: When meleeing flood bodies for shield, jumping and meleeing as you land on them does far more damage. Also, it’s criminal that 343 arbitrarily removed the envy skull from their H2 “LASO” playlist.

New challenge: Halo 2 LASO CO-OP only, but you have to collect ALL skulls on the way, no vehicles unless needed for a movent glitch, and do at least one super bounce or launch while getting a kill in each mission per player. Call it Halo 2 LASO: Swing your partner 'round and 'round.

It's ironic how halo 2 is the hardest LASO game to complete but the hardest individual level is by far from Halo 1 - truth and reconciliation. And I've competed every LASO run on every Halo game so I know!!!!

It’s worse than gravemind? I don’t even understand how you can beat the regret fight let alone gravemind on LASO. Truth and Reconciliation is hardest halo ce level on legendary just because of ammo but I’ve never done laso

@briantoplessbar4685 well everyone will have their own opinion but this is mine. Graveminds individual battles in between checkpoints are tough including that gravity lift trick but you never feel "stuck" at any point. Same with regret. Whereas with T&R the forced ammo management can wreck a run at any point and the tricks you need to do just to complete the level are more frustrating. I would do regret and gravemind in a heartbeat before I'd ever redo T&R
