I'm in a crux here. This is exactly what I need to speed up the process of making the things I am currently stitching by hand. I can't grow my business or increase productivity without increasing sales, however I can't increase my sales because I am limited to stitching everything by hand.

I hear you. I borrowed some money to buy my very first used machine, but you don’t need a machine to increase sales. That’s something you can do without a machine. 🙏🏼

Wow great review! I have the Yamata 810 which is very similar and i love that flatbed conversion! Im gonna have to try and create one for my machine! And the drop down stitch guide really comes in handy!

@@LittleKingGoods I've started a little side hustle down here in Georgia and I love the Bone and Cognac colors...I was unaware the first few months that chrome tanned was a no-no for laser engraving (i had excellent ventilation though)..I also didn't know that buying shoulders was superior over sides...I know what you mean about the parts of the sides you cant use due to defects...thanks for all the help brother! Have a great week!

I love all the additions to this version! I have been waffling for over a year trying to decide which sewing machine to get. I would like to do leather jackets and vests - do you have a suggestion for that? Thanks!
@LittleKingGoods
@LittleKingGoods 2 ай бұрын
I think for stuff like that a cylinder are machine might be better. I’d talk to Ron at techsew. He’s really good with this stuff! I’ve never done jackets or vests so I wouldn’t know where to start lol

Definitely a flatbed for jackets. A cylinder arm / post-bed would be hard to use with the weight of the jacket. Walking foot at a minimum but compound feed would help if you are using thicker leathers. Some machines that would work: consew 206, juki 1541, techsew 1660

Ok, as a tech geek I have a question. What’s the purpose of iPhone on the tripod with a second Rode mic?🤔 Some sort of external monitor + one more audio channel?😃
@LittleKingGoods
@LittleKingGoods 2 ай бұрын
lol yea for sure. It’s just my phone as a monitor via blue tooth from my Fx3. I also have a wireless mic attached to activate my teleprompter as it uses voice input to control the scrolling of the text.

You do great work. Your products are high quality. But a review of a $2500 (as you stated) NICHE product and it being basically a year since we’ve seen a project build it feels like a continuous ad/review channel. No disrespect if I’m missing the mark of the intention of your channel but would like to see some start to finish leather projects thrown into the mix.

Agreed. The best thing I’ve found is watching the older videos. Top it all off, I bought a techsew, influenced by his reviews. I regret it, and techsew has an “all sales are final” policy. Definitely will be looking for original content again, I’ll pass on the ad videos though.

@@LittleKingGoods I ordered the 4800 Pro, with hopes of stitching together ~45 dog collars for the holidays. The machine left some pretty rough tooling marks all over the leather, so I got on the phone/email/text with tech support. They had me remove springs, cut others, and try every needle type. All that and I'm still left with marks all over my leather (harness leather). I've messed around with other types, and even some pull-up stuff is still showing quite a bit. This is all without being able to use the table add-on because that adds more tooling marks. It's at the point where tech support stopped responding to texts so I'm stuck figuring this out on my own. Definitely won't be buying anything TechSew, and certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Oh man.. sorry to hear that man. Are the marks on the back or top off the project? I used some heat shrink on my presser foot to alleviate some marking. At the end of the day a machine will always leave marks.

Hey buddy I was also curious, what laser engraver do you have? I started my company with an XTool D1 Pro 20w but after 2000 hats sold its time to upgrade. I believe I'm gonna go with Thunder...as much leather work as you do, you may just order your patches, but I figured I'd ask...I wanna be sure before I drop 5 figures on a new laser...I cant thank you enough for your help bro!
