Sup yall! Another THE HATTERS music video review: this time on 'Russian Style'! This has been requested suuuuch a long time ago, but I forgot about it many times. My apologies, but the wait is finally over! :)
Verdict: very fun and quirky music video, with no shits given... Can be basically summed up with one word: YOLO! XD I also like the part in the song where its only beat and instrumental playing. Feels like it could be played in a movie during an action sequence. Also, really enjoyed Ilya's cameo in there hahaha.
Please remind me which THE HATTERS songs I should review next, as I need more of them! XD

5:16 they say "ustakanitsa" meaning from Russian "all will be fixed by itself", like, you don't worry it will be ok. " Stakan" - means "glass" (probably with vodka in it, lol) so it's made up verb we use

Two-heads eagle - it is Russian state emblem. This song is a parody of Russian stereotypes. It's a special feature of Little Big family: to laugh at our cliches as much as possible, because as more it'll look stupid, then other will understand that all these stereotypes are a bullshit.

2:34 yeah, the two-headed eagle is a symbol of Russia, you can see it on the coat of arms of Russian Federation 3:20 dat face tho! I laughed my ass off :) 3:55 Ilya's depicting a gopnik dancing to hardbass music :) very strong stereotype about Russia nowadays, heavily cultivated by Russian people, fondly enough 5:15 he sings "всё устаканится", which means "everything will settle down". however, there is a probably intended pun here: there is a "стакан" in "устаканится"; "стакан" means a glass: they drink vodka from the glasses :) 6:19 it's a balalaika!

He says "всё устаканится" (vs'o ustakanitsya), this expression means: everything will return to normal, you just need a little time, you need to wait and everything will be all right.

2:34 - yup, two-headed eagle it is! One of the russian official symbols(but without crowns, scepter, orb and Moscow's emblem here). 2:40 - yes, it's Anna Muzichenko( also known as Anna SergOvna). 5:17 - he says that there's nothing to worry about 'cause everything will be just fine)

My pet bear loves to walk with us and loves this song. In Russia it is very cold and you need to drink tea as hot as possible to keep warm

It was really a parody of how foreigners almost always represent Russia. Russian Russians, such as vodka, bears,balalaika, drunken Russians,and other charms of Russia, which are used in almost all American and English films to represent Russians and frighten their citizens on news channels, without having the slightest idea about the real Russia, with a thousand-year history and one of the most advanced cultures and Sciences in the world. And since Russian people have always had a sense of humor, so they made a video where all American stereotypes about Russia are ridiculed, so that Americans and those who believe them can fully establish themselves in their delusions, if they really do not have a sense of humor.

Isn't it positive then, that some younger people aren't aware of the racist stereotypes promoted by the media. But I understand your frustration of the constant portrail of all Russian people in a negative light. If the western media would do that to any other group of people, heads would explode.

It is mockery. They are making fun of silly stereotypes about Russia. E.g. nobody walks with bears along the streets in Russia but some people abroad really think Russians do.

Yes, an eagle. With 2 heads because the king of Russia married the daughter of the Emperor of Byzantium, who had a double-headed eagle coat of arms and Russia had the right to also use the coat of arms of the Palaiologos family. Russia still has this coat of arms. I always dilute tea with cold boiled water 50/50, but I know 5 people who drink tea with extremely hot boiling water, without diluting it. My father and best friend served in the army in the paratroopers. There are almost the best soldiers(the best in special forces) and paratroopers breaking a bottle on the head is an indicator of strength and courage.

It felt like they were making fun of gym culture and showing how hardcore Russians are because they work out with logs! You should do "Forever Young, Forever Drunk" or "последний герой" next.

Hey IRA, nice to see you are going on! If you feel like doing more Russian study the best way is through the movies with captions. Here's one (of a kind) comedy: Ширли-Мырли 1995 | kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ldxjfs9onraxpXk.html It has Eng and Ru subtitles and all that stuff. The settings is mid-90s - a kinda Kafkian period in Russian history. Note that it's totally not a reaction material (unless you want to get really creative with it).

3:55 He is a clown by certificate. Finally i can put like on video. Its their only clip from first awesome album. Everything what follows - much less funk, punk and deep sound, and much more light pop motives. idk you are srs or not, but they are mocking stereotypes about Russians. And they did this good and fun, in opposite of Little Big and Tommy Cash feat. with similar theme.

@@IntricatelyRandomAsian I have one try to watch some Russian movies and make some reviews about it with video shortcuts of the moments you liked I can recommend one it is the Legend among the Russian's movies all the Russian have watched this movie at least one time it is called Brother 2 "Брат-2" с английскими субтитрами | "Brother-2" with English subtitles) This movie is about a Russian hero and the hard 90-2000s in Russia and America)

@@levprostoy6312 За себя говорите. Вообще эта теория уже под вопросом. Татары - солдаты, так тогда называли всех военных. То что монгольская армия продвинулась, да, наверное было. Однако почему же мы не имеем черт монголов? Дань? Ну платили в то время дань, а потом монголы платили. СССР, о такой стране слышали? Так Монголия была ярым союзником со всеми вытекающими.
