It was obvious but update 5 has said the Forgotten is your inner child. Actually, the first Fairy Godmother quest was really heartbreaking when you think about yourself growing up and kids growing up now 😢

This is interestingly dark! I love ToonTown with the Cogs! Reminds me of Once Upon A Time, show where all fairy tale/Disney characters are trapped in a town and have forgotten who they were. (different reasons) It also makes me think of the Neverending story.

This is a great wrap up of what is actually happening in this story especially when the Olaf update came out it showed that the forgotten was brought about by us. Even when you literally don’t check on the valley for a couple of days the thorns grow everywhere! I can wait to see more of the story unfold and great video

Interesting take on the game. I play it as well and have made parallels betw the forgotten and society in general… I think this game is well designed and written and is marketing genius for Disney.

Ngl the sad plot makes me want to play now

I just started playing this game 6 days ago. I am blown away at how unexpectedly good it is! It’s so good it makes me want to drop kick animal crossing

The whole thing vaguely reminds me of Alice in Wonderlands plot. You did such a good job explaining it though. Is this confirmed or speculation, bc i 100% believe it.

What I don’t understand is why, if you’re sleeping in a place that reminds you of your childhood, that you appear in-game (in your dream) as an adult. If I ever dream about things that happened in my childhood, I’m a child in that dream.
