My goal in physical therapy is to get my patients to build body armor against disease (muscle), heal their gut, and protect their liver. Oh and to reduce their stress 'cuz we have fun!!

Its good that Dr. J is doing so much and taking time to explain everything (the difficult to understand pathophysiology in medicine ) in simple terms and THAT YOU WOULD BE AN ADVOCATE will save many lives am sure. please keep it up. I am a doctor myself and it is difficult to convince patients and people around to change and I can't explain as Dr J is doing. it is a brilliant channel . people want explanation for their logical mind . I had all these symptoms aged 51. Then depression hit me like a sledgehammer out of the blue - I was over 300lbs. I felt desperate not knowing what was wrong with me or why I was suddenly depressed because other than being physically wrecked my life was great. Thank God I didn’t go to the Doctor for SSRIs but found myself asking a simple question “what’s this depression trying to tell me”? Immediately I knew: I’m fat, I’m eating shit and I haven’t worked out in 20 years. I switched to strict keto diet and 2 months later I have lost 40lbs, I work out for over an hour a day, every day, I’m building muscle and I feel fantastic- no depression and most of my other health and anxiety problems have melted away. It’s like a miracle cure.

Thank you for sharing your failures and your successes...truly inspiring! Most important was that you asked yourself what your depression was trying to tell you! So few people know to do this, yet, we should when trying to understand illness and how to get well. There is always a psychological component to health, but, it doesn't necessarily mean we must take meds for it or spend hours with a psychiatrist...so thank you for sharing out loud for all to hear! Bless you.

Most mainstream doctors will tell you that seed oils are good for you and that leaky gut syndrome is a myth. But I couldn't help but notice they had no answers for me when I got stent after stent due to a rapidly progressing form of atherosclerosis. I was even on what they considered a healthy diet. I've been following Pradip's advice and it has been 4 years now and not one stent when before I'd need a stent every 9 months to a year until I ended up with 6 stents ending in 2019. I now take colostrum for the gut, don't consume those seed oils in canned nuts and now eat whole foods and nothing processed. BTW, my BP is 98 over 60, 35 triglycerides, no inflammatory markers anymore, and no more prediabetes. My money is on Pradip and to hell with Harvard and Mayo Clinic.

BTW, if the systolic number is less than 90, then there's cause for concern. I also don't smoke or drink and my heart rate is 50 bpm, an athlete's heart at 65! After my brother had a heart attack at age 67 ( one year ago ), we found out that we have some hereditary problems in our family. One is Lipoprotein (a ). Nothing you do ( diet, exercise, statins ) can get rid of it. Also hypercholestremia, which makes sense to me because I developed high cholesterol at 50 years old. I was 112 lbs. and had just passed my NLS Lifeguard. I was put on a statin and have been on it for 20 years now. We also found out from my brother that we have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy in our genetic makeup. All these things were found out after his heart attack. I have been tested for both ( all 8 siblings were advised to be checked ). I found that I have Lipoprotein ( a ) but I do not have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. I also went for a Stress Test that was normal. However, from age 61 to age 64, I started to become weaker and weaker. At 64, I became bedbound for about four years. This was very difficult to accept because I had been an athlete. But there was nothing I could do. Apparently what I had was called ME/CFS - Myalgicencephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It has not been accepted by the Medical Community at large. But with the high incidence of “ long COVID “, which has the same symptoms, more money is going into research for ME/CFS. It is believed to be caused by a virus ( related to the Epstein Barr virus which causes Mononucleosis ) I am now in recovery, which will take a few years, and I was happy to find this channel and begin eating a healthier diet. Being a former RN who worked with Cardiac patients in the 1970’s, I find this information fascinating. And no, I did not gain weight while bedbound. One is so completely exhausted, that lifting one’s head up to eat is difficult. Millions of people around the world have ME/ CFS but you do not see them. They are invisible because they cannot leave their homes and beds. They ( we ) describe themselves as having lost their lives. And we look completely normal, so that if we manage to get out for a coffee, we look fine. But we will end up flat in bed after even such a small activity. I was interested in this Dr.’s mention of interferon and T cells, because new research has shown a problem with the body’s ability to control interferon and T cells and ME/ CFS. Hopefully, a cure will be found. Fascinating info!!

First of all doctors of this planet should listen. They are the people to understand first. This great person has explained so lucidly ,that a guy like me who is not a doctor could understand the biochemistry of guts and brains. Hats off to this messiah.

Thank you Dr J. You are such a blessing. I have been listening to your lectures. Our doctors don't tell us all these thing. That's why the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge.

Thank you sharing us your wisdom. Thank you for making the content engaging and smple for your audience. It would be good if you could share, in the description, the research articles which came up with this model. Not that I do not trust you but because I think they also need to given their due credit for their efforts.

A true visionary Dr. J. Always great to learn more from you on this. I had my annual health check and am pretty good following your advice. Unfortunately I am procrastinating and should be studying now - I will make haste and treat myself to the rest of your video later. Perhaps over a cup of "Tea - Earl Grey, Hot". :)

I run a microbiome test company, and our idea is to establish a baseline microbiota profile of an individual. We could use this to follow your gut health and do food recommendation according to microbiome enterotype you've got.

Thank you Doctor for this informative video. I'm on this track and ready to get serious. Moved my exercise bike into the living room so I can use it every day. Trying for two meals a day after 10am. Lots of natural lemon water. I will try a 24 fast.Tired of carbs and sugar causing weight gain and inflam. markers. I appreciate your explaining what is hiding in the excess fat cells. There is a war going on! I enjoy healthy fish and clean veggies, so I'm on my journey to make significant improvements to my health.
