I first heard of him when Speed came out. Then The Devil's Advocate. I had the good fortune of seeing the Matrix when it first came out on VHS. I only love that movie more as time passes. However, I think his most criminally underrated role (and one of his best) is Bob Arctor from A Scanner Darkly.

He's one of those rare human beings who is not self centered and doesn't flaunt his success or behave like an entitled individual who should be catered to at all times. Because he doesn't follow the rest of the sheep in Hollywood, he has been treated poorly by the sinister powers that run Hollywood. God bless him. We need more people like him in this world.

@@dawnfairy9868 As someone who became a Day-Trader and changed a lot of things during the course of the pandemic...the OP is entirely correct. There is a big difference between fixing all of your financial/life problems and gaining happiness. Money can do ONE of these. If anything, you also gain A LOT of guilt. And then you feel guilty about feeling guilty because you know you really shouldn't feel guilty and there's no reason for it. It's a viscous cycle.
