The Heat Killed Me - Camino de Santiago

I got a call from my cycling girl Virginia Cancellieri. The outcome: we are going to start our bike-packing adventure the next day.
We ride the Camino de Santiago "the French way" starting from Burgos. This is my favourite gravel adventure ever. Two free spirits on bikes going with the flow and enjoying the time out in the saddle. It is still an ambitious tour as Virginia, being a mtb pro, just can't stop smashing it. Pure freedom on dusty gravel roads without a plan other than the final destination.
I've experienced some of the most beautiful days of my life and even shed some joyful tears.

Great video! I was riding last week and I got so overheated I started getting goosebumps. Thankfully I was close to home. The heat is no joke lately…or I’m just getting older and can’t take it anymore

Happy fix loaded for next 24hrs - thank you Alina. Very wet & windy here in New Zealand. Last month I was around the north Italian Lakes for 2 weeks...wishing I was back there atm.

Watch that heat girls!! People are dropping like flies here in Spain because of this horrible heat wave. There are over a thousand deaths already!!!! So watch out for symptoms... I myself have stopped to ride on a tad cooler days of next week. When it hits 36° I'll go riding (hell that's still hot) but gotta get some kilometers von these legs for training... Safe riding!!!!

Yeah it’s quite dangerous. We’ve tried our best to stay safe and start the days early. Plus hydration is key 🤙🏼

Video quality on this series has levelled up! Great work!!! I feel for you all over there, it's very hot for you all. Here in Australia in summer it's high 30's and mid 40's during the middle of the day and it really dictates where and when you can ride or you just feel like you're melting with the heat coming off the ground. Makes the Festive500 a different kind of difficult to those dealing with cold weather.
