My best trips on higher doses of mushrooms have been in my room at night in the complete dark (Normally listening to TOOL) but sometimes not so intense music. But I have had some amazing visuals and (with eyes closed) seen myself as an old man asking me " Is this all you have to offer " repeating it over and over again until I started having crazy memories about things I've mentally buried for 10+ years and all I could do was cry to a point where I was sobbing but it was because I felt like I had a weight lifted off me, that I didn't know was there. Point is, mushrooms can have amazing results but just be careful and prepared. Keep on flying!

I found that the best antidepressant effects come from me taking between 6-8g of good quality cubensis. However this sort of dose is only for somebody extremely experienced with the headspace. Those high doses have been life changing to me. Taking a strong dose like that every two weeks annihilated thirteen years of suicidal depression, addiction and anxiety. I even accidentally quit smoking. I absolutely fell in life all over again. Simple beautiful. You will totally lose yourself at these sorts of doses and disintegrate. But you also step outside of yourself on the way into ego death and coming back out of it and you become your own psychologist and figure out your own issues. You forgive yourself. You realise that life is malleable and maladaptive thinking does not need to stay static. Life is a canvas and you hold the paint brush. You realise we're all in this together. You realise the fundamentally important things needed to be happy... meaningful human connection. Friends, family, animals too. You realise to be more forgiving of other people. You see that life is like a big playground and you learn to look at everything again with a childlike curiosity. I could go on. Just life changing.

Hello Adam!! I am writing to you from Chile to tell you that almost a month ago, I had my first experience with psychedelics. I took(ate) 3 gr. from a mushroom called MckennaII. I was fully prepared, my tripsitter was my mom. And I was also ready to surrender. I did a meditation at the beginning and thought if I'm going to have a bad time, it's ok, it is part of the experience. 1 hour later I was completely energized and happy, I started dancing, I don't know how long I was dancing, and no mystical dance or anything like that, dancing to my favorite music in my room. After that, the information came to me that the mushrooms did not want me to suffer, they wanted me to have a good time, everything was great, I felt cared for, I felt loved by the universe, by nature, I saw everything breathe. I did not have hallucinations but I did have optical illusions, I loved the experience and would definitely do it again, perhaps with a slightly higher dose. Thank you for all your advice about having a safe trip. Sorry if my English is not very good.

Just had a great trip a week ago. I don't remember when I cried tears of joy in my life, except a week ago. Literally bawling, laughing smiling and telling my friend i'm the happiest I've ever been. I enjoyed recreational mushrooms and acid back in the early 90's, but it wasn't until the mid 90's that I did a heroic dose of shrooms with a friend at his cottage and after a 1/2 hour, he told me he didn't feel well and went to bed. I made sure he was okay and then loaded up a cooler full of beer and walked down to the dock to 'be one with nature'. I had no idea at the time but that moment changed my life. I literally talked to my higher power over the next few hours. It 'proved' itself to me(an atheist) and even gifted me with a visit by my yet unknown spirit animal. This was not a hallucination, but a literal visit by an animal that is not known to come near humans. I credit that to my stillness and absolute mental connection to the universe(meditation), but it was special nonetheless. 25 years have passed and I still credit that special night to saving my life. I still feel that connection to the universe and it played a big part in why I became a firefighter in order to help others. A couple decades later, I have found that shrooms are helping my brothers and sisters as well as vets in their own struggles. I am relieved that we are heading in the right direction these days with respect to mental health. I am tired of the war on drugs and freedom. It's time to care for each other. 🤟

For me it's cyclical because I feel like my own delusions and my understanding of what I feel truth is changes alot. I love psychedelics but I always felt anxiety because of it, it made me dissociate and have derealisation, I tried to live with it but I was always up in panic at night. I started with Islam and was very interesting but then with Christianity something just clicked, I felt jesus' presence and love, and since then I've been praying and learning more and more. I haven't felt more grounded, loved and complete ever in my life. I grew up in an incredibly narrow minded houshold that pushed a very silly view of the world. Drugs were given a black and white description and as I got older I started to see the cracks in that narrative. Eventually I got the courage to expand and try things and now after all this time I have tried the "heroic dose" and I was amazed at how much it did for me. I am trying another dose soon and I have set myself up for a good set and setting thanks to your guidance. Yes! I've found they help with personal development; but said personal development comes along with the consequence of alienating you from the way that "normal" people think, which in turn increases loneliness due to a shortage of like-minded individuals. Although it should be noted that this downside is not inherent to the substance or experience, but, rather our decision to demonize these substances and experiences on a grand scale culturally. This entire dichotomy would be eliminated with the legalization of these substances and the normalization of non-recreational (high dosage/shamanic) experiences as a coming-of-age birthright tradition of western culture.

First time I ever took mushrooms, I went in a 6g of golden teachers. It's was potent but I had experimented with other drugs prior. After 45mins with music on and a log-burner to watch (recommend) I lost consicness and went into a mad Kalidascope of colours. Traveled through different parts of my mind, thinking about reconsiiling with people I had ever argued with, rationalizng with my self about how far this trip was going like, there must have been a villagers back in time mushroom foraging and accidentally taken to many of them mushrooms hungry and I bet they came back from the trip ok. After about 4 hour I start to regain control of my body which was shivering and shaking as I must have been tensing all my muscles for hours. The powerful comeup of the mushrooms was an adrenaline rush in its self and the happiness that came after me and my friends sat laughing at each other and how far gone we had all been for the last 4 hours was amazing. I wasn't able to speak properly for around hour after I came back and still had visuals for around the same amount of time. A proper reset button on the brain which brought me a good few months of joy.

My last heroic dose was 2007...and I was a dedicated psychonaut previous to this. The experience was so complex and powerful that I am still processing everything that happened. I was in the middle of a forest and I gained abilities during the trip that if I was to mention here people would probably tell me to seek help. Sadly it was only for a 2-3 hour period, but it showed me that humans are capable of so much more. I will not say I will never do another heroic dose, but I just haven't felt the need since then.

The cool thing about acid is that there is no 'gluttonous' dose. It is all good. There is really no way to OD on LSD. Worst case scenario is that you lay in bed and dream for a couple days. Lol We used to call that having a vision quest, but people today are detached from reality that they will chalk that up as a bad trip, go to rehab for a week, and then repeat next weekend. We are so lost as a society it scares me.

Currently receiving ketamine therapy, and I have to say, his comments about approaching the session were spot on. You have to surrender to being open minded about the experience. You have to follow the narrative as it builds, you can’t try to force your thinking in the experience. I have a similar story with LSD, took 250 ug with a few friends when I was 16 without really knowing what to expect (really dumb idea) and I was in a full on cartoon world, got stuck in a loop where I could only say “what”, and would walk from the bench to the woods back and forth for what felt like a couple hours, and thought I died because a bunch of friends that weren’t there to begin with showed up, and I thought I died and imagined it. Luckily one of the friends who showed up knew what to do and took me to a dope spot where I had a pretty good rest of my trip. I guess I learned to have more respect for these substances and myself, but it was so intense that I don’t remember a lot of it. Wild experience, wish I took less the first time for sure

I have experienced depression since I was teen, but due to a zealot family I was never allowed to either express my self nor take anything to help myself. So I left home soon after I complete my studies and started working. I trew myself into the business and family but now, at the age of 51, depression is back. I have a wonderful family, a great wife and two lovely kids. But depression is there, like a back pack. Once I have tried LSD (I was 22) and have walked in the beach with friends, but I would have gambled that we were all in a wood... I am all set to start with mushrooms and LSD, even though in Italy is not easy to get them. Thanks to this channel I feel more knowledgable and safe.

I don’t know if I’m alone in my experience but let me wrap this up, I took a eighth and was with someone very close also experiencing it, lets call him jerry, we also had a trip sitter I’ll just call him tom. Me and jerry fasted the whole day before and of our effects started within 20mins the feeling of rootedness and heavy legs settling upon we sat down on the couch where we watched youtube forever which i was informed later on by tom that it was actually just two 5 min videos, then Jerry had the “bright” idea of putting on eraserhead on hbo, I have never felt such a guttural discomfort before just the few minutes of watching it hit something in my core that id rather not elaborate, tom seeing that we weren’t enjoying it he thankfully changed it too buddhist mantras, at one point we got to the ohm or aom mantra and after doing this with jerry suddenly I wasn’t able to finish the end of the mantra stopping at oh or ao and my eyes would roll back feeling a strange warmth near the crown of my skull, it was one of the most fulfilling feelings I’ve ever had, now 3 days later, yea sorry this is getting long so im skipping stuff… now 3 days later I fasted the whole day meditating, around midnight alone this time at home because tom and Jerry were busy i take what i had left about 7.4g thinking it was a good ratio based of other past experiences, well i wasn’t ready for it this time i put on a mantra playlist chanting along with each one that came on doing this for about 2 hours i just felt the normal clear minded feeling of meditating so i got up to get water then when i went back in my room i started chanting along with what was on, feeling bummed out about not feeling any effects i started being somewhat egotistical about it in my mind thats when it started, chanting along with this mantra, it all of a sudden started to feel like my soul was being sucked out of my forehead, I couldn’t hear anything i wasnt able to move, almost feeling like i wasn’t breathing and my vision was nothing but blobs of the color in front of me, leaving myself to my thoughts where i started panicking thinking to myself i know people don’t die from this but am I going insane, after what felt like forever of not being able to calm down and being in a loop of worrying tom and jerry came back hearing there voices in the background i started coming back into focus when i got abruptly very nauseous and stumbled to throw up in a garbage, coming back from this i feel like im missing something or i didn’t complete something, sadly haven’t figured it out which bothers me still, long story short be careful and always have someone you trust with too help

You just took too much. That's all. What could be "missing"? The medicine decides what to do and will usually cooperate with your intentions. Chasing the big blowout enlightenment thing or whatever is unnecessary. I mean, if you really feel like it go ahead but I never understood that motive. I'm so extremely grateful for the experiences I've had, I can't imagine demanding more. I'll still explore and be curious but giant doses are kinda. Idk, it just seems like some people are treating it badly.

Let's not forget all pharmaceuticals are only legal because they are able to be controlled and thus taxed. Anything with a seed..(or spore), is difficult to control and tax (profit). This is exactly why Mary Jane has taken so long and exactly why being seedless is marketed as being dank. This applies to most all foods in your local grocery. "Agenda"

In 1970 we would find mushrooms up to 8 inches wide and have grocery bags full and make tea. Those were the good ole days

A pack of cigarettes is 💯 more dangerous than a shroom 🍄💯. (even though I'm trying to quit 🚬) I probably couldn't have slowed down if it wasn't for the shrooms 💯🙌 idk how, but shrooms helped me & lots of others quit tones of bad habits 🙌 Seriously thank God for shrooms!
