In 1983 a revolution began on the Scandinavian race tracks. Lynx GLS 3300 was the snowmobile that took Lynx from zero to hero in racing. This is the story of the first years of Lynx Sport Sleds. www.brplynx.com www.brp.com

I love pieces like this, So cool to see the guys who started it, and the racers who were entrusted with these machines talk about them. I could watch it for hours!

Depends which genre you're riding amirite? Some guys from Finland/Sweden might ride Lynx, (Cory Micku from Sledcnecks rides Ski Doo/Arctic Cat? Brett Rasmussen rides a Polaris but soon to be Ski Doo and Chris Burandt rides a Polaris "Backcountry".. The Tapio brothers rides Arctic Cat HCR's in the Jackson Hole competition - "King of Kings", Last time I checked Polaris won in 2013? In the end everything comes down to the rider, whetever you're in Cross, hillclimbing, backcountry or freestyle.

:-) suspect no big wins from Haikonen in the upcoming snocross season, listen to the man him self...

Well,if Lynx is such good snowmobile then why are Toni Haikonen going to ride a Polaris in hes comeback 2012-13?

Maybe got a better deal from Polaris? I don’t know the reason, but I could assume something like that. Of course, over time, other brands have also developed their own suspensions and otherwise the driving characteristics of their sleds and got closer to Lynx.
