Blessed Miroslav Bulesic was a Croatian priest and martyr who had served as a parish priest and as a professor. He was a heavy critic of Communism. The government introduced civil weddings and funeral services to take people away from his parish, but the people still kept going to him to attend Mass. One day, a group of communist supporters attacked him in his residence. They pinned him on the ground and stabbed him on his neck multiple times until he died.

I as a Croat 🇭🇷 didn't know about him. Hundreds of priests and nuns were killed in Croatia during communist rule. Martyrs please pray for us ✝️.

These stories are so inspirational yet so sad that such atrocities were perpetrated on Catholic clergy and their flocks because of their beliefs, it is because of those selfless martyrs who gave of themselves that we still have faith🙏

We Croatians are very proud of this wondrous priest..as a matter of fact I live only a few km from his village! Those that murdered him were never convicted and even dared to live freely in the same village..a very large number of Catbolics were killed under during the communist regime under Tito..he hated priests..😔
