This comment doesn't make sense, Even osama was engineer did it made him wise man? no. There a problem in our society, we consider person with degree or having some level of fluency in English is educated and he is sole person that can lead the country. Education is important, but the argument uneducated person doesn't make sense at all. Even in history we had great leader, they didn't have any degree or not even speak fluent english, still they went on to make reforms in society. I think the argument uneducated person show your envy towards a person who has achieved so much without following conventional path, which you did and suffered and didn't manage to go and achieve anything. So target the person with things that doesn't make any sense with particular context. My question to you what makes a person educated, if PM gets 100% in particular field, does it make him wise enough to make decision of social issues? Why highly educated IAS, IPS officers go on to corruption, if their sole purpose is to manage proper functioning of the system.

Education also means having Moral Values and Ethics like Honesty, Truthful Ness, Integrity etc virtues. And this applies to each and every person in the society. But if a person is holding the highest post they are expected to have these qualities the most.

Liked your comment but you have listed Poverty Elimination as "6". Am an Indian migrant who chose to live in Europe/my late mother in the fifties lived in dire poverty when she was a child. At the time of her death in 2010 Poverty was still as bad as it was in her childhood. Successive Indian govts. have done zero to lift ppl out of poverty in today's India. Indians 3rd largest migrants in the world fleeing poverty, in the millions not wars to Christian West.

The Subansiri dam, after so much protest, hasn't been completed in years and already has become death trap. Major highways in Assam, were already done before 2014. Now there are toll gates everywhere and unnecessary overbridge construction, major source of pollution. Most of the tenders for these construction goes to Assam chief minister's cousins family, and every office worker knows, 10% of every infrastructure cost directly goes to the CM. They spend hundreds of crore in 1 km overbridge, no quality and half money goes to the corrupt CM, Adani and Ambani groups. This is the story of my state. I wish they gave some of those money to starving researchers of India.

Thanks for showing the data for R&D. I've been thinking of asking you to cover this aspect for a long time. During my Ph.D. time, I used to hear from all the professors that this Govt. is cutting down / shutting down all R&D funds. Now, many researchers are directly experiencing the adverse effects. The truth is these types of subtle things cannot be understood by 99.9% of people who will vote, as rightly pointed out by Deshbhakt. Still, I would like to request Deshbhakt to cover the Govt. funds of India in R&D, academics, and medicine and compare them with other countries in great detail. Jai Hind!

I mean running away from the problems is not always the solution. The Modi government plan was to remove reservations and include meritocracy but you know how it turned out when the opposition used his plan against him by brainwashing people that Modi doesn't care about marginalized people. Btw, The government is doing reforms in the education sector as well. Go and do some research on new education policy 2024. The education system is flawed as of now in India but I believe it will improve a lot in the future. Any reforms or improvements takes time to happen and the government is definitely working on it.

Between 1947 and 2014, 1 Km of a 2 lane road ( 2 up and 2 dn ) was counted as 1 Km of road built. From 2014 - 24 the fuzzy logic kicked in where 1 Km of a 2 lane road ( 2 up and 2 dn ) is being considered as 4 Kms of road built. Similarly 1 Km of a 3 lane highway is being considered as 6 Kms of roads built. So, this huge figure you are presenting just represents probably a 4th or a 6th of the total length of roads built. Furthermore the quality of roads are highly questionable because much of the money being paid to contractors for the road construction ends up with the ultra corrupt BJ Party.

some scam is part of democracy and some part is Indian mentality. quality is poor because the contractor has to give a cut to the local people and also to the govt agents. how much it takes to get the bills paid on time? Cost escalates because the project is not completed in time but the people and machines have been hired. Project is not completed in time because the money is not released on time. Money is not released on time because the inspection and certification was not done on time. Money was not released on time because the finance has diverted the sanctioned funds for other works. CAG office in Delhi has a beautiful tennis court in front. True I have not seen people playing during office hours but surely money is spent to maintain it.

Hospital was built in 1845, Nair hospital was built and inaugurated in 1925, 1956 highways were bulit and 1961 the Bombay Road Plan started and railways were given to us by Britishers, Mumbai ko Mumbai banane me bohot logon ki jaane gai hai aur ek smarak hai Hutatma Chowk karke sirf unke liye banaya gaya, sorry but Mumbai doesn't know New BJP it has a diffrent history, we are blessed that we are getting good education, medical facilities and government facilities......the current goernment stands no where in the growth of Mumbai infact they want to smash Mumbai.....Thank for kind words for my city Aniket...I appreciate....
