Hello yes hello its been about a month but let me tell you its all been worth it... okay not really, I spent most of the month doing nothing and then I decided for no particular reason to just work for a week straight on a video about sonic... not my proudest achievement but hey it is what is. The information in this video is subject to change over time due to the ongoing nature of the story. There are many different interpretations as to what the story of this ARG is, but feel free to speculate and pick apart my analysis, jusut don't tear me apart and lets keep things civil... or not I don't delete comments...

One thing that intrigues me the most about Green Mountain has to be the agonizingly long scene after "killing" the other Sonic, specifically how the game slowly removes the colours from the environment while also watching as Sonic slowly starts to resemble the other Sonic as well. And with the added context of the story in the files, what happens at the end of the game seems to take on a bit of a different meaning. Watching the game slowly decay right in front of your eyes as you can't do anything else other than just watch and let it all happen. As if we're seeing the game and Sonic rotting away like a corpse. Just thought I'd put my two cents onto the table here since I thought it was an interesting comparison.

Just wanna note: the Undertale Mod Tool has got to be the most specific and random way to access a game's files. Especially since this is a Sonic fangame, not an Undertale or Deltraune mod. I'm generally not one for ARGs, but without people pointing it out to you, you would probably never guess to use such a specific software.

complaining is literally useless, cuz if there are better gamemaker decompilers out there, then they are either obscure, or broken. (well, atleast i think it is gamemaker, cuz as far as i know utmt is made for gamemaker made games)

The reason it works is because of the game being made in the engine as undertale, game maker studio

Very good video! I think these ARGs that explain the story through people investigating and searching information are quite interesting, unfortunately i've seen people who only cause harm by hating on these stories based on the idea that the story needs to explained directly to the reader/viewer

my personal theory is that the burial took place in the Sonic world and Sonic friends most likely buried Sonic. When they talk about her i assume they are talking about Amy and that image of Sonic is either his corpse being buried or him coming back to life

makes sense, but lets and another darker part, your theory lines up with mine, but i just got a slight addition, everytime a sonic dies, they burry him, and create a new one, this sonic however, has found his way up, finding the corpse, it tries to escape as it is in pain, and as sonic kills it, the curse is moved to the next, they create another sonic, and the suffering continues, as tails would be smart enough to clone a animal, and i think tails and knuckles were talking as they were about to bury the first sonic, and were debating on telling amy

I think the “Her” had a connection to the body, someone who played video games with them a lot, like Sonic 1. His favorite game (I suppose) It’s probably her older brother. It would make sense, if he was reincarnated as, That thing. I don’t know, but it seems like it. and yes ik im late

This was a great video man! The editing quality is better than some Hollywood documentaries I’ve seen 😂 I do have like two suggestions tho to help your work surpass ALL the Hollywood documentaries. Ok maybe not all, but most. 1. If possible, play some of the sound effects and music you said were distorted for just a couple seconds, that will help the viewer get a better context of how it sounds, and it would just be nice to have. 2. DO MORE OF THESE THIS WAS AMAAAZINGGG!!!! Keep it up bro! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

It's likely an older sibling talking to a friend after they accidentally killed their little sister's pet, possibly a pet hedgehog, since they can be difficult to take care of if you don't know what you're doing. The connection could be that the little sister was a sonic fan, and so she named her hedgehog after sonic. After burying the pet, the guilt and attempted distancing from the situation along with the location could of possibly brought the hedgehog back to life, afterwards it might of possibly killed the older sibling, or the older sibling's friend, or its also possible that the undead hedgehog is now left forever trapped alone from it's owner, and away from any sense of love and comfort.

Theory: The conversation: knuckles and tails The picture: sonics body The “her:” Amy rose The gameplay: you play as sonics spirit returning to the mountain where your body is. The faceless sonic represents your body’s state, missing a face and limbs and underbelly. It going into the ground represents you being buried. And turning into the faceless faker represents your soul finally passing.

To me at least in my interpatation is...Sonic and his shadowy counterpart were speaking to one another as they know they're forced to do this and it's an entity that controlls the game . And "Her" Is amy after the entity killed her or rather indirectly killed her as he forced Shadowy Sonic to kill amy by posseson which is why he's on all fours and killed amy then the burial thing is likely what they did the two sonic's likely did that for amy.
