Hey bro, with all due respect, request you to please research on the latest trends @New IIMs. Udaipur Alumnus here, Got placed at Airtel. Managing Airtel's Gobal business. Many folks from Udaipur got placed at HUL, Goldman, JP Morgan, AMEX, etc. If you don't call these quality recruiters, then I am not sure what are :) P.S: Our IIM is among the only 4 IIMs that audits its placement reports. You can trust that :)

@@kfka_birt 1) For All the job opportunities related queries you can refer to our placement reports. It's audited. 2) Yes, IIM Tag helps a lot. But it is only in the initial few years. If you don't work hard and rely only on the IIM tag , then you are going to regret it.

Good profile, now focus on getting a high percentile in CAT, and good GDPI prep. Furthermore, also prepare a good justification for your gap- you can talk about how did you use this time to upskill yourself etc. and you should be good to go. Wishing you all the best

Hello! If you receive a call from IIM Kozhikode, it generally indicates that your CAT score and profile meet the cutoff set by IIM Kozhikode for shortlisting candidates. However, it does not necessarily guarantee calls from other IIMs, including other new or baby IIMs. Each IIM has its own separate admission process and cutoff criteria. The cutoff percentile for shortlisting candidates for the interview rounds can vary from one IIM to another

@@sezalsachdeva8444y BLACKI, ISB, FMS, XLRI, SPJIMR can be considered as true tier 1 bschools in India, only placement figures cannot determine whether a college is tier 1 or not.. MDI, IIFT, JBIMS, SIBM, NMIMS, IIM shillong, SJMSOM, DOMS IIT D & MICA can be considered borderline tier 1 schools and this is not based only on the pay packages but a number of other factors

Bhai ye bhi soch lena ki ye saal IIM Indore top package 1 cr hai. IPM Matlab when you sit for placements after 5 years, then you can expect good salary. Aur metro city me rehne ka tension kyu lee rahe ho. Sab figure out ho jaayega.

@@theiimguy yes bhai. Core consulting nahi hai. Bain offered roles through Bain Capability network till last year. Abhi vo Bain and Co dikha rahe hai placement report me, but it would be a research role only. Slowly brands are coming, but roles offered are definitely lower as compared to old IIM. And i think that Alumni network issue is not that big an issue. Aap khud sochiye bhai, koi agar IIM Kozhikode gaya tha 2009-10 me, tab IIM K was 13 years old. Then they would also think alumni network nahi hai. But aaj agar dekhoge tho that guy is an alumni of IIMK, an old iim. Time ke saath new IIM ka alumni aur brand value badhte jaayega.

@@theiimguy They gave direct PI marks for those who got selected for BLKI interviews and BLKI PI marks will be considered for IIM V. They gave for Pre-PI a waitlist number for everyone else category wise. Today they rejected more than 95% of the candidates they gave PI waitlist to. Even some students at 98 and 99% got rejected

PI waitlist went upto 3500+ for General. Those who got first calls nobody rejects an online PI interview chance. So waitlist did not move itself so everyone else got rejected after waiting for so many days.
