I carry an i5R EOS everyday, except for last week. During evening church service the power went out across town. What would have been my moment to shine (pun intended) i failed. I had put my light on the charger and didn’t carry it that day. At least i had my backup iR2 on my keys.

I love every design decision behind the arkfeld except one; i get the usefulness of it, as you outline in the video, but the one thing I'm holding out for is something in the form factor of the arkfeld with *red* light instead of UV as its secondary lighting.

Great video. One important thing about carrying a light is threat deterrence. I was out last week with half a dozen of my students taking props from a show back to our barn for storage. The day went long and we arrived 30 minutes after dusk. We’re in the barn, kids all have their phone lights on, when I hear two girls SCREAM! Turns out a raccoon was standing there in front of them. Well, I just tripple-clicked my Arkfeld and the strobe effect made that animal hit the road. These are great products. Thanks for producing quality EDC.

Started my edc with an ixv and baton 3 pro. I've since swapped the baton for a warrior mini 3 with no regrets, I love it!

So, true my folks don’t understand the importance of having a EDC light. My current EDC is a warrior 3S.

I"ve carried a pocketknife for about 5 decades, and started carrying an EDC flashlight regularly with the earliest OLight Baton series. I now have all of the Arkfeld series, including the folding head version. I'll carry a knife (sometimes an OKnife) and flashlight at all times, even in loungewear around the house, and use both tools on regular basis, every single day. It's amazing how handy it is to pull out a small light to see what's in the back shelves of a kitchen cabinet! My current EDC loadout includes the Arkfeld Pro, the Warrior Nano (yes, TWO lights) and the matching knife from your Halloween Zombie Green splash-anodized combo. I also carry an iTHX on my keychain for a handy backup and a small ferrocerium fire starter. I can't even imagine going without a handy knife and light for any length of time.

This a a great auto mechanic's light. The uv light can be used to illuminate uv dye in your fluids to detect leaks. The laser can be used to point out precise components under a vehicle from a distance.

I tend to actually walk in the dark as to not draw attention to myself, people (especially dog walkers) in the UK have an intense distrust of people using lights other than their phone light. I mainly use lights for indoor use, mood/night light or for taking the bin out.

And collectors do not forget the dragon edition!!!

I've gotten that question ask so many times, including my daughter, why do you need a flashlight for ? That's the kind of question a none lite carrying person would say ! True history of flashlight came from a long history magelight ! Oh wow the most bolkiest unnecessary hugeness brand I've ever dealt with ! Flashlight weren't made for pockets that's why most came with cheap sheaths all magelite was cool for. Now we put tails on them so we can find them when we need them . Don't forget to charge, charge your lites ! You carry them because you need them !

My work bag is home to a Baton Pro, and the i5T-Plus. I’ve also been carrying my Warrior Nano when I know I’ll be out past nightfall. Great lights.

I have the Arkfeld Pro and the Warrior Nano. I accidentally bent the pocket clip out pretty badly at work, but it's still my favorite light.

I EDC a Baton4 in my pocket. It's tiny, really tiny, yet it can put out a very bright light when needed. I use a Seeker 4 around my property. I like a good, bright throw on a flashlight, though my wife prefers a flood. The Arkfeld is too long for my EDC and I really don't need a UV and laser pointer with me all the time. I do have separate devices around the home for those though. A red light would be useful to check on the chickens in the dark without disturbing them! How's about a red filter cap you could fit over the front of a Seeker 4? 😉

I carry a light and a knife everyday and use both multiple times a day. I feel lost without it.

Don’t have any o lights but I’m considering getting the ark field pro. Been travelling more and more with the wife and the uv would be nice to have around the house for the dogs and at hotel rooms. Love the flat design.

I EDC the baton 4 every day. I love how lightweight it is, I clip it onto my hat and BOOM! Now I have a headlamp for hands free use. :) and max 1300 lumens is awesome. Great battery life as well.

I EDC the Baton 3 Pro everyday. I used to carry the Arkfeld Pro, but I always accidently activated the strobe feature because I'm so used to double click for turbo 😅 It's not really optimal because my brother has epilepsy...

I have carried a flashlight everyday for many years. EDC was a lot harder before LEDs. One light I had was Arkfeld shaped, but shorter. It was a BSA light, 2 x AA batteries side by side, tan coated metal, red BSA symbol, and a red plastic flip top with a little magnified bulb. It saw a lot of use. Even without any "emergencies" I use a flashlight everyday. They have been very handy when the power went out in a building, or in one case where a light was malfunctioning and out in a bathroom. My wife was very pleased with herself when the light went out at two different places of employment and she had her flashlight to light her way. I got in the habit long before one might be able to use the LED light on a phone. I also like the Olight powerbank, with the built in LED flashlight, you know the one, the 14,000 lumen Maruauder 2. LOL. No, I do not EDC that one. ;-) Now I travel with the Baton 4 Premium and the neutral white Perun 2 Mini headlamp/right angled flashlight and really enjoy that the shared charging case can be used as a backup powerbank for life's emergencies.

Arkfeld made me an edc flashlight guy. Never even notice it's there. My son turned into edc flashlight guy when i gave him one. Now we both carry arkfeld pro.

Doesn't UV and green laser damage your eyes? I usually carry a i3T in my pocket, it's so small I don't notice it until I need it. But sometimes I feel like I need more lumens, plus it's a pain when the battery just dies on me when I need the light. There is no way to check how much battery is left.

I always carry an I3t, always. Most of the time I have two, one in my front pocket and one in my jacket pocket. I also have an I3e on my key ring.

I hate my phone. I love my flashlight. You literally bring light into darkness. How do you not like Olight? I carry a flashlight everyday, ever since I found out about Olight a couple of years ago. Ever need to look in a cabinet, or under the bed or sink, storage shed, trunk of your car, inside a large bag, any confined space, supply closet? How about behind the TV or even the inputs behind the TV or under a desk, your car engine or oil on the dipstick? Many use cases for a flashlight during the day.

Can we get a silicone diffuser that slips on a few models for turning a Baton 3 or warrior mini 2 into a lamp for camping?

The issue I have with the Arkfeld: it's too big for EDC. I'd so wish there'd be an "Arkfeld pro mini" maybe fitting in the 5th pocket of the jeans aso. I'd still wear the iXV's on my keyring, and also the Perun2mini , and the few Gobers i have on my backpack (or the Warrior Nano; i exchange them dpeending on my moods :) ... But a 5th-pocket-Arkfeld? Sign me of for that!

I like the arkfeld but it’s still a bit big for a pocket. I like the baton 4 size. You could make a potentially double size baton 4 in a flat shape around 3.5 inches long and maybe 80g. Possibly 2 different emitters? Flood and throw? Cool and warm? So many possibilities.

Olight needs to make them with a replaceable battery, then they have the perfect flashlight. 💥💥 I carry a i3t-eos & the Baton 4 premium.

I must like the Arkefeld, as I have FIVE of them, most recently with the zombie Pro. What I can't figure out is why Olight seems to be constantly pounding out promos and advertising for it, over all else? Being one of the more unique offerings, and how popular it has been, I would think it wouldn't require that much promotion. Am I missing something? P.S. when's the next sale??

Biggest problem with the Arkfeld is that its slippery. 0 grip factor. The textured sides does absolutely nothing. In fact I think it makes it even more slippery. would be a nice torch otherwise but a real design fail imho.
