TAROT SCHOOL PLAYLIST • Kippi's Tarot School
The Hierophant tarot card has popped in to subject us to all manner of orthodoxy and conformity. He represents the church and the 'outer' religion but also symbolises any kind of teacher or clever pants.
When we get the Hierophant it's usually telling us that we should pay attention to someone more knowledgable, or that we could be the teacher in guiding someone else. It's also telling us to stick to tried and tested ways for dealing with things right now.
Reversed can mean trying new and innovative ways to accomplish something, but can also mean gullibility so be vigilant!

You’ve yet again released a beast of a upload which has an abundance of well researched information strongly supported by a beautifully crafted presentation that really captures your attention. It’s really refreshing to watch someone who doesn’t drone on about things that detract you from the science of what it really means.

I am really liking this so far. Great Job! 🙂 One thing though. When associating the Tarot-Cards with the planets and zodiacal signs, I highly recommend the 10min short video by B.R. Taylor with the Title 'Tarot and the zodiac (Metaphysics of the Gods) ... It's about five years ago, when he uploaded it. Most Tarot-readers are getting it wrong, out of my perspective. The common associations never resonated with me, so when I found B.R.'s video it literally clicked! .... It's what makes total sense for me. Especially the Hierophant is associated with Pisces, NOT Taurus, because that is associated with the Empress! You can see the Venus sigil at the bottom left corner, and Venus is the ruling planet for Taurus as well. ... The description of The Empress fits Taurus more than anything else, while The Hierophant fits the description of the sign of Pisces and the 12th house. ... Thought I mention this ... while you will also notice when looking to the minor Arcana, that when you read the cards in reference to the Major Arcana themes in the back-ground you will find resonating clues as well.

Wow, thank you so much for the info and the heads up on the B.R.Taylor video. I've just subscribed, it looks great! This is exactly why I started this channel, so I could learn from others and get different perspectives on the subjects in the hope that maybe we can start a little occult community. In terms of the zodiac correspondences I decided to go with Golden Dawn system for this initial project to fit in with the original Waite deck and Paul Foster Case's descriptions, although I know that this is something that Waite himself revised in the years following the publication of the Rider Waite deck. I've got a section coming up in the Strength video where I address how Waite swapped the order of Strength and Justice in order to make them fit with Leo and Libra respectively. Crowley then changed this back for his Thoth deck but he maintained the Hebrew letter correspondences from the GD. From studying the different systems put forward in Tarot Correspondences by T.Susan Chang I knew that I needed to settle on a single method for now but this is something I would be happy to revisit in the future. I'm really looking forward to doing the minor Arcana! Thanks again :) ☆

@@kippi - You're very welcome. 🤗 I'm glad, this is of help. I kept pondering upon things myself for a few years, and I noticed when laying them out myself and connecting the dots, so to speak, B.R.'s expression resonates the most. Yes, B.R. has some amazing insights about the world and life itself. I know it's hard to change that around now, after you've made several videos already. Most Tarot-Card Readers are associating the same way as you do. I am also not keen on switching the Strength-Card and the Justice card around. If you really look at it, number 11 speaks of self-mastery and there is 'balance' since the number 11 is two 1s next to each other. When you say 'eleven', it contains the word 'even' and also evening! which is Libra (the scales) and right with the Sun setting on the Western horizon. Thanks for your feed-back. I really love the way you composed your video-shorts. I am definitely sticking around. 🙂

Hierophant "where do the rules come from,".acolate, "from you, for you are the ice cream and the beef." lol. or you know, the rules to get to the safety and the resources. and many times it truly does mean the proper conduct and all that, that you really should embody. However the hiero.may not always be truly right and thats why sometimes it can appear reversed,and etc.
