Looks incredible but the use of Titanium over Inconel shows it’s more for marketing than actual performance and durability. Titanium isn’t made to withstand constant thermal variations like inconel is. Why do F1 cars use inconel over titanium for these parts? That is the reason. Longevity. Looks awesome but I personally would only order this for my 600lt if it was made of inconel.

inconel is far more expensive, durable? For cars that only go on the occasional track day titanium is perfect, much lighter and resonates a higher frequency because it is thinner. I've had many ti exhausts on bikes and thrashed them on the track and they have not shown any sign of wear

@@Dtp2296 Nope, inconel is not more expensive than titanium and if it is. It’s a negligible price difference. Durability wise, yes inconel is far more durable. You don’t want to spend that kind of money for it to crack or fall apart after a year or two. For high performance cars like any mclaren whether you take them on track days or not, the exhaust will still reach high temperatures.
