I don't think anyone is unusable, but he is low tier in this. Lots of unsafe strings, all you gotta do is block low againsts him, his strings are unsafe and have gaps you can poke through. And you can uppercut his teleport on reaction

Hey guys! I'm learning Kung Lao at the moment and the first thing I do when I learn a new character is watching how the best players are using him. I wish I could post my Kung Lao Matches but I'm still very bad. I know he isn't a top tier character but he looks fun and has some sick combos! I love Kung Lao but he is in such a weird place right now. Only two overheads that can’t chain into anything, and a weak projectile. All he really needs is one overhead mixup that either starts a chain or is in the middle of one. That alone would make Kung Laos tools a lot more viable. He’s meant to be extremely aggressive and his lack of an overhead mix up really kills his game against people who know what to do.

An overhead isnt the problem. Not every character needs 5050 mix ups to be good. His problem is that he has no safe hit confirms for meterless damage and a lot of his mid strings aren't safe either. I honestly think all he needs is his 21212 string to be high>mid like mkx. The fact that his string that should be his primary starter starts with 3 highs is ridiculous. KL is definitely not as bad as people say

I fear they might not since they didnt take the effort to put frost his machine insides in brutalities and fatalities. So I bet she is gonna be the only cyber we get since they didnt want to go through the effort of making it for just 1 character... Hope im wrong and we get Cyrax atleast.

I feel that's it's unlikely that they gonna put Sektor and Cyrax in, since they already shown them basically, and their whole moveset (even throws) are from MKX and all the characters got their moveset completely reworked... But there is a chance that we will se some other cyborgs ofc.

Average Money because fatalities get stale after seeing them 3+ times. good players want to get back in the game and not waste time looking at an animation they’ve seen many times before. fatalities are only used in high level play to disrespect

kung lao mains sleep on the mid air teleport move i use it all the time works 80% of the time. i use the other orbiting hat move also which makes the hat surround the opponent instead of lao.

@@SunnyDaking_ nah unless they patched it, using it AT ALL takes 2, one offense bar and a defense bar. it automatically uses the bars, no amplify needed.

Idk but every KungLao players i met was toxic as fuck. Like, not just verbal abuse, they spam, they t-bag, they win 1 match, use fatalities then quit. Why are all KungLao mains so toxic...

There isn't any ranks in MK11 though, so by that definition there is no "top ranked" anything. All we can go off of is tournament results.

I main Kung Lao and can honestly say he's fantastic and really fun to use! Just a different playstyle to a lot of the other MK fighters. I beg you try and beat me as Kung Lao ;)

sooo awesome,, but there are 2 things that i dont really like.. first the voice who says round 1 .... i dont know i got used with that deep male voice.. ! it was more agressive.. and second raiden says nothing while he is doing the "Torpedo" skill ? oohh in mk 1 was soo cool hearing him with that

He's really fun but man it is so difficult to pull off certain combos. One I've been trying to master is 21212-spin, 121-spin (amp).... is hard AF to pull off for me. I cant get him to spin consistently after the 121

@@Raivazz gladly if you mb z hat in the corner you get a free f4 (people like to spam d1 so it hits) and I always end all my combo's in the corner with f4 mb z hat and it conditions them to wake up which then u can cancel z hat and punish Also ppl forget the low part of the z hat for some reason lol if we fight I can show you if we fight

you have to download the mobile game of MK. then ingame on your phone go into settings and it will give you a code to connect your mobile game with your PC/Ps4/Xbox game.
