I'm trying to imagine the Buddha's altar during a winter time with some light snow falling .......... Tadao Ando's Architecture has always been one of my favorites since College.

Hi! How can i get there from sapporo?
@DaveinOsaka5 жыл бұрын
It’s in the Makomanai Takino Cemetery. You have to take a train about 30 outside of sapporo and then take a taxi from Makomanai Station. The station is the last stop on the line I believe.
@balwegtv2373 жыл бұрын
There is a bus 🚌. From makomanai station very cheap 380 yen

I hope Buddhists see the irony in flocking to such an incredible, expensive temple.

Good point! An obvious display of how religion is a business too!
@shunyabinduinteriors3 жыл бұрын
Incredible yes,but doesn't seem so expensive. Also if religious places are not glorified then none will visit them. Grandeur and uniqueness has always interested and attracted people of all faiths🙏🙏🙏
