The aftermath of the million man March impacted the following: Thousands of kids were adopted, black organizations saw a massive increase in membership, violence in the black community saw a major decline, black families reunited and black fathers return home and take responsibility. Don’t ever let anyone tell you this didn’t have a major impact on black life not only in America but globally.

I was in 1995. The news media was trying to downplay that it wasn’t a Million of us there. The Picture that ABC took and showed doesn’t tell or show the true story. People were sitting down and in trees. It was a Million men where at 9:30 that morning. I still feel way now that I did in 1995 it was a Blur because I can remember everything but the ONE THING that I do remember is that ONE Million plus of my Brothers were there. We came in peace, we learned in peace and we left in peace but a little smarter than what we were when we came.

We don’t need another Million Man March. We need to reflect on that beautiful moment of history and principles that that day represented. This country has tried to write this historical day out of the Black time but we have to memorialize this day as our day. Almost 2 million black men I. One area at one time and no crime hit the news. God is real.
