Honestly as the years go by the only thing I start to realize is if I am “too old” for anything, it’s too old to care what other people think. And Thankyou! I think it would be cool to own one of everything sugary carnival, but I’m honestly content with the pieces I have too. But, I do hope they release more in the future. However, with how AP handles their releases, it’s so difficult, if not near impossible, to get anything new from them. Most of the time you have to resort to buying from scalpers and honestly I much prefer the way Other brands handle releases

Ah! Congratulations! I just got the confirmation from my SS that my MTO items arrived last night! I’m so happy every is finally able to get a chance to get their own sugary carnival sets directly from AP! And yeah I did have a few Breyer horses growing up, sadly I only have one left and he’s a little beat up but he was really special to me growing up so I couldn’t imagine getting rid of him now

That’s a good question now that I think about it, I know a lot of “horse girls” who are/were into the fashion. That’s cool that you also did a show. Growing up we had 3 horses but never did anything fancy with them except riding them around the desert. Just that one time at horse camp.

I feel you on AP feeling very exclusive. Honestly I really don’t like their business model and how difficult it is to get anything from them. I use to be all about AP back in the beginning of my Lolita journey, but not only do I dislike many of their current releases, when they do release stuff that embodies their previous era, I don’t even try because I know it’s almost impossible to get. The only new things I’ve gotten from them lately are the MTO items because you didn’t have to jump into an online brawl to obtain them. For real though, Baby and Meta have my heart, as well as my wallet.

@@CandiceBear ya, I'm still waiting on my MTO and it's been like a year. AP is legit the worst for over seas customers. You're better off buying second hand and hoping to get it that way. Meta the true MVP. I use to get a lot of baby but havn't had many dresses I wanted. I still love shirring princes though. I havn't worn it in a few years maybe I'll finally bring that girl out to wear lol

Woah that’s crazy! Did you get it from the SF shop? I always feel they are the absolute last to get items. If I can, even though it’s a bit pricier, I try to get even my MTOs through an SS. For a company who seems to have multiple new releases out every week, they seem to have the longest and worse production delays. I figure at this point, they don’t care about us so I’ve stopped paying attention to them.

@@CandiceBear I got it from Japan, they said they were going to release it in October but apparently that was in person orders only and not online so I have to wait till April. I used Tenshi who is amazing, tbh she is why I'm not panicking about it too much. I used her in the past and never failed me so far.

Oh yes Tenshi is amazing! The only time I don’t use her is when it’s impossible to do so! At least you know your order is safe when Tenshi is involved. That’s still crazy though that an MTO would take a year and a half to be fulfilled. I wonder why that is different from other releases?

But the lavender is such a good color too!! But I hope one day you can find it (for cheaper than I did) or AP releases it so you can have another chance to get it!

Oh I’ve for sure met horses who do and who don’t. One of my favorites I ever had was a donkey we had since he was born. Never let us ride him but till this day will follow you around. And give “hugs” and rubs his face all over me. Horses and donkeys have the most human personalities of any animals I’ve ever met. One we had loved to run so we would go running through dried washes after school every day. Another hated being ridden so we just let her do her thing and just stand out there and look pretty. Their strong personalities and independence is another things that made me so obsessed with them growing up. Though from what I’ve heard from other people who had ponies apparently it’s common for them to have “small man syndrome” kinda like chihuahuas. 😂
