Thank you for all your work. I didn't know of the Ankh symbol was so rich in history and that so many cultures used it.

It's only exclusive to the Egyptian culture, but some of ancient civilizations below Egypt knew what the ankh is because of he egyptian invasion

Egyptian Egyptologist here🙋, great video and thank you for showing respect to our culture and obviously doing actual research since many misinformations going around and people make uo stuff alot, but I'd like to add or edit some points in this video 1- [1:30] Isis actualy puts the ankh on the nose not the lips because they believed it had to do with he soul and thats why (aside from natural distortion with time) some satutes have broken noses, its belived that breaking the statue's nose would free the soul 2- [3:25] Coptic means coptic speaking not christian, Christians didnt just out of no where become a minority but converted to islam, and the Christian and jews egyptians before converting ,both spoke coptic until the leader amr ibn al as came to egypt and the egyptians helped them kick our greeko roman invaders, then accepted islam and the new language arabic, copts make up about 87% of the people in egypt which are actually almsot all the egyptians, excluding foreigners, immigrants, refugees, amazighs and arabs. Also the ankh it self never needed revival in egypt as it never got any downplayed, almost all Egyptians have knowledge about the ankh and we actualy call it "key of life" 3- [9:17] I dont know if the creator of this character meant forher to have Horus's eye, but this is actually the eye of ra 4- [11:44] Sub Saharans have nothing to do with the ankh as its purley egyptian, but some might have had association with it in the old/ancient days because of fhe south areas thay egyptians invaded below egypt 5- [12:27] its none of the rest of Africa's business, tho egyptians except everyone wearing we actuall sell it almost around every historical area. And we actually still wear the ankh its quite common to see people wearing the ankh ,we mostly wear it out of love for our culture, but it does resonate with our believes in both islam and Christianity

I have had visitation from horus in dreamscape and had egyptian symbols given to me in dreams and have had horus appear as a guide in shamanic journeys. I have been drawn to keys and the key of life specifically. This video was informative and helpful in knowing a bit more on the history of this symbol. Thank you!

Thank you for the video I know this will help people out in the future. For me personally I never wore Ankh's before but I can appreciate them though & in what they stand for. I read a lot on the ancient Egyptian culture the architecture, carvings & art it's very nice but the only figure I really took any interest in was Anubis. Now when it comes to crosses The Irish Cross is by far my favorite

You're welcome. And thank you for being here. As per the Irish Cross, I do know about it but I can't say I know a lot about it. Maybe this is a sign for me to look it up.

@@kjrasa There are a lot of different versions people made but the basis is still the same. The oldest Irish Cross ever is still up in Donegal Ireland
