@@nathansdrawinguk1882 No, the bell isn't fixed. it still sounds the same like four years ago. The only thing that was done was that the hands were repainted from black to dark blue. The bell stays cracked, in order to repair it they'd have to remove a whole wall, re-cast it, re-tune it and put it back in and close off the wall again, they're going to leave it as is.

@@danielmilitello4795 The bell is broken and will unfortunately not be repaired. That is only what it sounded like, but bringing the bell out of the bell chamber to re-cast it is too much work, they would even have to remove a whole wall just to bring it out. The crack can't be fixed any other way, so it has a rachet, broken sound, but my friend will try to recreate the bell sound, so maybe I'll post a video on it.

Thank you. But please note that Big Ben hasn’t been there since 1288, it’s been there since 1843 and the bell was put in in 1858 and the bell isn’t 15 tons it’s 13 and a half tons. What do you know?

Scaffolding is still on big ben and its 2022! Half of scaffolding is gone off big ben and all the scaffolding will be gone in some half of Spring and/or Summer.

Yes, I also believe it rang like that for maybe six or seven hundred times before being broken. It's sad that there is no audio that anyone made that has the big ben bell chime fixed, but then again, little people know that it's broken at all. My friend might make a fixed version of the sound for me tho, at least I hope
