Falconry is known as the oldest sport in the world, with many of the training techniques still used today. In this video, presented by Ryan Stocks, learn about the origins of the sport, how the birds were trained, the laws surrounding falconry and which birds certain people were permitted to keep due to their status. Staring the formidable talents of James Swanton (Host 2020, Frankenstien's Creature 2018 and Salt 2019) and filmed and produced by Carl Syres and Brandon Syres from Red Lime.

I ask for research purposes: do you still have the sources for your information? I'm on the research hunt for any and all things medieval falconry, and there's so much wonderful information in here. Would love to be guided towards where to find it.

Hi, I researched as best as I could for this video and then still found out more after that. So I suggest continue to researching with other books/videos etc. Hopefully, this one will has given you a good start at least, thanks
