I remember Christmas 2012 when I got my iPod touch, after seeing all my friends at school playing this when it first released, immediately downloading this and i got to TH8 on that iPod before it died for the last time and never turned back on, sometime in 2014. I was so frustrated actually that I stopped playing until late 2016 and then took another break until late 2018 and I've been playing ever since. I'm now currently an almost max TH9 on my main, a new TH8 on my second, and a new TH7 on my third, and I would like to say I have been completely free to play until the Autumn Queen skin that just released, because now I have my own income that I can spend (although this is the only purchase I plan on making on Clash of Clans). I remember getting my entire family involved in Clash of Clans and we had a clan for only our family. I used to be bullied a lot as a kid and this game was my escape, all the new random people I found in Global chat had no idea who I was and I felt at ease, with all my clan mates that I considered my friends. This game means so much to me, and I thank you for uploading this brief history of the game! :)

Watching this made me remember how much of an OG player i was... I remember getting hyped for the different leagues!

I remember they made a level 10 wall design that was blue and electric (like the max level one now but different) but it didn't stay long and got redesigned to the one that exists now.

I remember the time when the eagle artillery nske 2x damage to golems and the hidden tesla did 2x damage to pekkas.

And everyone on the global chat was looking for a girl

I remember when hogs first came out and 44 of them with 4 heals would crush any TH9 before the they buffed giant bombs.

I experienced all of these, and now my grandfather currently owns the account. I feel so bad... I feel like I will never experience 7yr me going on a mountain trip while playing with grandpa Clash of Clans and being extremely happy when we finally unlocked The Angel (or healer) The Wizard and The Ballon. It feels so bad, I don’t know if it is the fact that maybe no game will make me feel this way. Even if a total copy of COC would launch, it wouldn’t be the same. Or the fact that I might have grew up... Sorry if this sounds very edgy, but I loved this game a lot and now it just lost it’s charm.

7:30 I had stopped playing somewhere before this update. I recently got back into it....I didn't want to start from scratch because I figured it would be a grind. Boy was I wrong! There is so much that just make the game faster now. Being able to train two sets of troops, having one menu that's for all that training as well as preset loadouts...crazy. I remember my base was kind of rushed to 10 for my last 2 lvls. It is a whole new game and I actually love it. Started at beginning and 2-3 months later I just finished my TH8 upgrade with 90% maxed base and I would say 20 walls left for dark purple crystal.

Don’t know when I started playing Coc for the first time but I remember there were No leagues so I guess in late 2012 or early 2013

I remember the good old days when I first started when the max town hall level was 10, for some reason i quitted the game, but then I came back in 2015, good timing because town hall lv 11 was added, I remember how big that update was, I also remember the builder base update, that new village even made my brother come back to the game, but he quitted again some time later. Then I quitted the game again for some reason and saw the town hall level 12 and the electro dragon, yeah, i quitted again and then recently I started a new village when I got a new phone, at first it was a bit weird seeing that town hall level 13, even a new hero and other stuff that i didn't know anything about, this time I'm gonna try to reach a max town hall level 13 being free-to-play (I think it will be really long) if hopefully I don't quit again... (Also I thought in creating another village where I would reach town hall lv 13 as well but I would have defenses in a lot of random levels, for example: i would have a cannon lv 1 and other at lv 18, it would be funny lol) Whatever, good old times

i think i started clash of clans like the month it came out(i only know this bc i remember being able to sell buildings). i would have been 7 at the time. me and my brothers played a ton on our parents’ phones. around the start of the new year tho i stopped playing until 4-5 years later when my dad gave his old phone to me. i started playing again and was pretty much maxed th8. then i got bored and stopped playing. during that time i got a new phone and forgot to back up my coc. so now i’m starting fresh, with my old 7 year acc being lost to the void, and am now maxed th5 upgrading to th6
