Dr. Stuart delivered me (at the hospital on Hawthorne), as well as probably half the town. Sadly he passed away earlier this year.

This is our little town "Elkin" History documented. I. and my better half, enjoyed living in the "The Best Little Town in North Carolina" since 1981. Great place to live, and retire, in. I know some of the great people mentioned and I believe that we made the right decision to retire here,
