I like this idea of a giant serpent roaming in space..I saw it for the first time with Rayquaza from Pokemon. Scary thought, yet very interesting and cool.

Ghidora is unique in that he's flat out EVIL and sadistic. Other kaju don't care about humans, are forces of nature, or just follow instincts. But Ghidora? He commits genocide and slaughter because he LIKES to. He's pure evil, plain and simple.

Ghidorah has always been my favorite Toho monster. Such a great, classic design that doesn't look like any dinosaur or living creature. The simultaneous movement of those three long necks and heads are both mesmerizing and creepy, especially with that eerie cry he makes and lightning bolts shooting out of all of his mouths. There are obviously some dragon elements in his design, but he doesn't look like any traditional dragon either. Plus he's from outer space (he doesn't have to live here and is more than willing to destroy *everything* ) and he's always TOTALLY EVIL. (Mecha King Ghidorah doesn't count, because the mecha part is dominant and human-controlled.)

I love that he's in Antarctica. Because seriously we have NO idea what's there. The ground is under a skyscrapers worth of ice. And since it was once like Australia (a giant island) the animals there evolved to be very different. so once we actually dig we will find animals we could never imagine. I think it's crazy that we have a whole continent that no human lives on. Like could you imagine being like yeah my dad is American but my mom is Antarctican

@@thedishonoredamerican129 I don't that will fit with Destoroyah. Darkseid is more of a conquerer and is willing to kill for enjoyment. Ghidorah will be the Freiza and Darkseid of the Godzillaverse. While Destoroyah will be the Doomsday of the Godzillaverse due to their similar personality. Both are driven by hatred, rage, and destruction.

I don't know if it's canon, but somewhere, I think it was stated that King Ghidorah's wings essentially act as solar panels for cosmic rays.

His wing only act as solar panels as mecha king ghidorah but king ghidorah would be cooler if that was the case where he could soak up solar energy and shoot solar energy rays

I actually love the Ghidorah from Monster Planet, he's totally unique and being extra dimensional, the way he appears is different from how we'd see him if he was forced into our dimension, at which point I think he'd look like the traditional KG. I mean he is monster 0, it takes Godzilla and allies to take him down, barely.

For me King Dhidorah was always the scariest and most powerful kaiju ever. I mean Godzilla needed (and probably needs again in 2019) the help of 2 others to defeat him.

Ghidorah is also a star eater. This was confirmed in the Showa era films and guide books. Ghidorah's beams are solar powered.

The movie Ghidorh being the 3 Dorads from the future, is also the same one with it being controlled by the people from the future. Ghidorah is generally controlled by aliens and not people from the future normally.

You know some people are saying that Charles Dance's character in the movie might be Tom Hiddleston's character from Kong: Skull Island ( James Conrad ) as an older man, so when he says " Long live the Kink, which King is he referring to ? GODZILLA or KONG IF that is his character that is.................

King Ghidorah seems to be the largest monster even bigger than the Godzilla but as far as body-wise Godzilla is bigger. King ghidra is only taller because of the three heads

In the previous movies he is often bigger. Also, Destroyah is also bigger, and Biollante, and others.

If you’re talking about the monsterverse version that’s not really true. Ghidorah dwarfs Godzilla in height and weight , Godzilla barely comes up to the base of his necks. Even in other continuities Ghidorahs always been heavier than Godzilla. His heaviest weight was in the hesei series where he comes in at 70,000 tons while Godzilla in the same timeline was only 60,000 at most
