I had what was called a brain fart And said that Chase HQ was made by konami when in fact it was made by Taito. It's one of my all-time favorite racing games and I knew this as I've even done a video on the history of it. Sorry for the confusion.

Jason, depression is an adaptation to the rollercoaster that is life and evolved to help you through it. It forces you to accurately assess your current situation and soberly decide your next step. If you aren’t coming out of it after finding your next job consider seeing a psychiatrist and don’t be afraid to take a Prozac/lexapro/Wellbutrin. Talk therapy combined with these meds have saved millions of lives so don’t be afraid of them. Always remember 1. Be grateful for what you have 2. 99% of our worries turn out to be nothing 3. Medical science and treatments for depression are always improving.

I was at Funspot, in Laconia New Hampshire last night, and I walked by the Contra cabinet and the Aliens cabinet. I spent too much time, and tokens, playing the Sinistar cabinet.

Aliens was a real fine action arcade game. If only they knew that aliens can take on the characteristics of their hosts so we could have more variety on enemies.

My favorite arcade game... and that's saying a lot. This lead to me running into the Aliens movie at Blockbuster one night. Noticing it was like the arcade game I was fascinated with. I begged my parents to let me rent it, and I've loved the Aliens universe ever since. I WILL own a cabinet one day.

This is one of my all time favorite arcade games, that very few people ever saw or got to play. My 1st job out of high school had a machine across the street at the bowling alley, and I played this every chance I got. This was one of Konami's best, and to this day I still put it on pretty regularly. It sucked that it never got a home release at the time, as the SNES could have produced a fair version I'm sure, but oh well, at least we got it in arcades.

First saw this cabinet somewhere in Cape Cod in 1990. 5 year old me was mesmerized by the demo, just seeing it for a few minutes was enough to start a 10 year obsession that fizzled out into life long appreciation for the (pre AVP) Alien franchise.

Loved this game as a kid. The first time I used a emulator with arcade games in the late 90s I started with this and beat it. Not only was mind blown that I could play any arcade games it was also blown I could go back and beat the game that I have not seen in years. This game was at a bowling alley for about a year. Used to get a few bucks and walk about a mile just to play this game. Never beat it. I was to young. I remember this and MK2 had people playing it all the time. Hit me right in the feels.

A few months later, Taito released their own Aliens-knockoff game, Space Gun. It's one of my favorites, because it uses a gun and foot-pedal system, much like Time Crisis.

Played a little of it at a Walmart when they had a cabinet or 2 just inside of the main entrance in their old style stores, didn't realize they made it.

Back in our youth, if you saw the Konami logo, you knew you were in for a real treat. I remember playing this on a MAME emulator just before Alien: Covenant was released.

This cabinet wasn't something that should have worked, but Konami really hit it out of the park. We had Xenophobe, Alien Syndrome, and yes Contra, and while not Contra, this was the Aliens Game that hit a sweetest of spots.

You always seem to choose to do videos on games that I have fond memories of. I remember playing this one on a family trip to Vegas. I loved shooters like this. Now I know it was based on Contra. No wonder I liked it.

I had no idea that konami made this arcade game of Aliens. I'd never seen it in any arcade I'd ever gone to or even heard about before now. It must be uber rare as far as arcade games go. Looks like a fun game. The sidescrolling and run and gun kinda of reminds me of Konami's much earlier game Jailbreak. (That game was stupidly difficult. You died in a single hit, and lost weapons if you accidentally shot an innocent bystander.)

The Alien designs in this one certainly were outlandish! I think Konami's excellent AVP game had Xenos that were both varied and truer to the source material. Just as long as they all don't morph into Pachinko machines... now that's horrifying!

The only game in the arcade I ever comepleted. Was awesome! 1990 was a good year for arcade games. I was playing Splatterhouse, Final Fight, Chase HQ (some of these might have come out a year before but were still great!)

I'm just seeing this video and I appreciate it me and my dad used to play this when we used to walk to a local circle k my daddy passed away in the 90s in the early 2000s I was able to pick up that same arcade cabinet that was passed around in certain stores play the hell out of it lost to arcade machine do to termites in my shed still kept the arcade board lol now play it through emulation

Aliens is one of the nuttiest video game adaptation of a movie ever. Electric aliens, bat aliens, flying aliens, tentacled thing aliens, T1000 aliens. To say they took some liberties with the source material would be an understatement. But I still like the game anyway, even though it is batshit crazy.

I totally LOVED that game!!! That soundtrack was sooo good too! I was too young to watch the movies soI got to experience the Alien world for the first time. I remember being surprised there weren’t flying aliens or zombies like in the game when I finally watched the actual movies lol

Aside from being made by Konami, this has more similarity to Robocop 2 the arcade game than Contra in gameplay. It plays like a 2.5D beat'em up with guns.

This is one of the few arcade games I wish would get a legit home release one day but I doubt that would ever happen due to licensing issues. Same with the Aliens vs. Predator arcade game as well.

There was a Sega Genesis port of this that never got released because of a licensing dispute between Konami and James Cameron.

that main event wrestling game was insane...it had one big button to do all the moves😅

I remember as a kid seeing The Main Event at the local bowling alley and kind of understanding who some of the wrestlers were based off of in the WWF even though I didn’t really watch wrestling at the time. 6 months later they replaced it with WWF Superstars and by that time I was hooked on the WWF and it was such a better game.

@@davidmreyes77 i couldn't play The Main Event to save my life! no instructions, one big fat button and i didn't know how to pin the opponent even when i had him beat!
