Just one thing, the letter A version 1 and 2 coexisted all the time. I would even say that the version 2 was more similar to the original Phoenician and also to the original Etruscan form that arrived in Rome.

The Q is also wrong, the small q coexisted with the big Q, and it is closer to the phoenician Qof letter from 800bce

It's interesting to see how Q became q from drawing the circle counterclockwise (just like O), but the cursive form of Q has us drawing the circle clockwise in a 2-like shape.

Your cursive is different from my cursive then. I learnt to do all round letters like a, o, d, g, q, by starting from the top right then counterclockwise

@@spacesandwich5593 Same as me when it comes to lowercase, but Q (i.e. the capital form) is often written as a 2-like shape, or at least how I learned it.

0:12 Lowercase single-story A gets its shape from its Roman cursiva novum form. Double-story comes from Ⲁ, a Roman variation of A. 0:52 F also had an insular form: ꝼ. 1:02 G also had an insular form: ᵹ. This developed from the Carolingian cursive form and into the letter yogh (Ȝ). 2:32 S also had an insular form: ꞅ. This developed into the long S (ſ), which with Z, merged into eszett (ß) still used in German today. 2:35 T also had an insular form: ꞇ. Les formes cursives de l'alphabet latin sont une extension de formes de la vidéo. Ils se sont développés en tandem et la cursive que nous connaissons aujourd'hui s'est formée vers le XVIe siècle. Les cursives modernes de l'ouest proviennent principalement des écritures manuscrites italiennes, spenceriennes et anglaises des XVIe au XIXe siècles. Les alphasyllabaires kana ont évolué à partir des kanji (qui proviennent des caractères chinois). Je crois que cette chaîne a déjà des vidéos à ce sujet. Désolé pour la mauvaise grammaire, j'apprends encore le français.

some of them resulted because of cursive script form where the extra stroke was made so it could connect to the next letter or a stroke was lost because it was quicker to write that way with cursive script style

Yes have noticed the difference in transition translation of the upper lower and lower case lettering. I use all caps when deciphering until recently. Reminder of Jesus teaching. To sit at the lower seat until called higher in place.

Nice handwritting, but this is wrong in many ways. Many versions coexisted at the same time, and some letters are re-influenced by the phoenician letters (the small a, and the small q for example)

the lowercase forms only need 1-2 strokes, while the uppercase forms need 1-4 strokes

I'm unreasonably upset over q. The 1st one was just fine, looked nice and had the actual resemblance to its parent. The modern q is just a mirrored p compare Q and P and it makes zero sense whatsoever. O don't care if there was a stage before that which gives a context to the evolution cause on the grand scheme of things that context gets lost to time. I was today years old when I learned it. It makes zero difference on my Stance. Who invented q? I wanna pay a visit to their grave and steal their bracelets.
