The frogs are finally coming to Minecraft after the losing the biome vote from minecon live 2019, maybe there is a chance mobs like ostrich or iceologer could be make it in to a future updates (like for example: the iceologer could appear in a possible snow update)

I really hope they add the deep sea leviathan one day, I want to be terrified to go on a sea adventure or explore underwater constructs. Right now the ocean is extremely safe. Also I know it wouldn't happen, but I love the idea of the vulture picking up a sword and promptly attacking the next player with it.

The phantom beating the sea monster made me sad, I almost never see phantoms because I sleep before the mobs spawn because of creepers. I would have probably seen a lot of sea monsters tho since I spent almost all my time around oceans. (Unless sea monsters only spawn at night)

The best part is that frogs are going to Minecraft in the wild update (1.19) so the idea wasn't completely deleted, and the fact the person (I don't remember the name) who was responsible for the info for the mob vote had a moobloom plush, makes it clear that these mobs might be in the game in the future

Posting some minor corrections and notes: -The vulture would have flown over player corpses instead of grabbing their dropped items according to the devs during a Minecon panel -Mobs from the biome votes still have a chance to make it into the game, but Mojang hasn't made it clear WHEN they will make it in. It's been years. - I chose not to add the giant to this video because it's just a larger version of the zombie with little/no extra work on Mojang's part Still wish they added the Sea Monster

The sea monster would've been a cool addition, as Mojang could've made it so that it can hunt fish, the blaze king would've been pretty fun to fight, and the lizard would make exploring a little more dangerous, as they could camouflage and, most likely, devour you whole. Instead, we got phantoms. Which are bats, but more annoying in every way possible

Imagine a swamp update with massive trees that almost block out the sunlight, crocodiles or alligators, lizard mobs or frogs and treehouse structures. Vine bridges, witch villages- the list goes on!

It wasn’t frogs I wanted, IT WAS THE ABILITY TO PUT CHESTS IN BOATS

Wow, one of the modpacks I play has a version of the sea monster in it, called a lurker. Not as big as the one presented in the thumbnail, but they latch onto you, pull you downwards, and continuously attack you for large amounts of damage, even in full iron it can take you down within like, 5 to 10 hits iirc? You can only get them off you by hitting them with an axe at full strength, so if you aren’t going for one, you have to take out your axe and wait for the bar to charge up, just to get the thing off you, meanwhile it is wrecking your health. God forbid you miss and have to wait again. Honestly, just tanking the hits and killing with a sword is sometimes faster, and that way it won’t be able to grab you again. Not to mention, if you are getting swarmed by drowned, you can’t really dodge any tridents. This normally wouldn’t be a problem, just rest on land to heal or don’t go into the water/be very careful. The issue is, that the modpack also has the Origins Mod and I wanted to try a merling (fish person) on an ocean-only world. So I can’t stay on land for long if it is not raining, and I have to do most of my game in the water. It’s actually really fun, but makes stripmining and such more difficult.

With the swamp biome being added to the game next year we can hold out hope for our fallen yet not forgotten mobs and biome updates being added in the future
