Ayyyy my chuck e cheese, I used to go here ALL OF THE TIME when I was younger! My nieces had a birthday party there recently, and I was absolutely heartbroken that they got rid of the animatronics. I literally had no idea that this location was THIS old and had such a rich and long history. Thank you for covering my local cec! I really appreciate it.

Capital Boulevard was my childhood location. I hated when I realized that they were getting 2.0 but by the time I realized it was too late they were already gone and I didn’t know what landfill they ended up so I could save them

NO WAY. my childhood location... such a huge part of my life. i will never forget these animatronics and how much they meant to me when i was little. i cried the day we drove by and they were getting 2.0.

Amazing video And the reason why Chuck didn’t have a tooth was because CEC Entertainment was trying out a brand new head for chuck without his tooth, so yes, it’s a completely different mold

I grew up with the Chuck E Cheese in Virginia Beach on Lynnhaven Pkwy in the early 2010s and unfortunately it got the 2.0 remodel sometime late last year 😢

I really wished they didn’t take out Raleigh’s 3-stage. And I really hope that some of the animatronics were rescued.

Nice video! Tbh I like when billy bob guitar goes to jasper because it makes the location unique and i like it and i think it fits him! and uh do you know any cool chuck e cheese locations? or unique? im trying to build one is a construction game to look very unique. for example, the capital location looks unique because is has blue checkers. I'm looking for, Phase 4, Phase 3, Phase 3/Pizza (chuck e cheese pizza logo) the 90's chuck e cheese's pizza (phase 2?) and all of those that have window blocks (those windows you see in garages and stuff, they have some in cec locations) and window bock towers next to them., and that phase 3 with the phase 4 mashup that looks like phase 3 chuck but with phase 4 colors, and the phase 3 colors on the phase 4 logo (yes that exists for some reason), and the colorful checkers on a building.

The 3 Stage location in Charlotte is a personal favorite of mine due to how good the condition of the animatronics are there, but the Asheville location is also cool due to it being phase 3 still.

Tbh many people wonder why Charlotte isn’t the capital and I think the same but as of my knowledge in terms of the Korean population, it has been in Raleigh and Durham longer than Charlotte. That’s not the only reason though just one of many and many reasons.

@@ItzaRob I just remembered that location had a three-stage before being remodeled to CEC 2.0. This could mean that the Omaha, NE location was once a Showbiz Pizza Place. Not sure if that adds anything.

Hi, I'm an NC resident, and I heard it in the beginning...but you pronounced it like Riley. It's pronounced "rawlee" It's really weird considering the person it was named after, but it's how it goes lol No hate my guy, love your stuff..just something I noticed

I live near this store and the converted into the abomination 2.0 I miss the animatronics 😢although the store is alright it’s bigger and better than Durham’s Chuck E. Cheese store😂😂❤

A fellow Nathan Spies fan I see based off that reference lol. I've heard out of the 2.0 stores out there that this one is one of the better ones (though since Northridge is apparently keeping their animatronics that's probably the best 2.0 store now)

A bunch of assorted businesses, since it closed so long ago the original building isn't there anymore.

You can bet they never made it to a landfill, nor were they ever in danger of it. It's a convenient cover story. I'm certain they are in a storage unit in Raleigh waiting on a collector or most likely a dealer to load them up in a couple years.

It's often not one though. Corporate asks them to destroy the animatronics and give proof of it. Now of course some of these destroyed animatronics do find their way into the hands of private collectors and are restored, as was the case for the Birmingham Alabama Studio C Chuck. If what you're saying is true though, it'd be awesome to see who ends up getting them and what they do with them.

Bruh this is why I love and hate Chuck E Cheese, like wtf guys? They literally removed the reason I (and many others) would go there (we never had any in my country so seeing literally any of them with animatronics is a dream to me) it's like if an amusement park scrapped the rides like the Hell?

can you do the Milwaukee location plz I saw the pinned comment so its fine if it takes a while and there is another location called the brookfield location in cheeseepedia but its in the milwaukee area but in cheeseepedia it says brookfield so you have to search up brookfield instead of milwaukee

@@gwenmloveskpopandmore Well you're entitled to your opinion but they're destroying animatronics for these things. Kids will never know of these cool animatronics and instead be staring at a dance floor while they're eating. While I don't think a dance floor in conjunction with the show is a bad idea, making it the whole thing to replace a show doesn't make sense to me when the animatronics have given lots of kids many memories over the years, and to just chuck them in the trash and destroy them is a terrible thing to do to them. This was even the initial concept for the dance floor, having it be a side thing WITH the animatronic (not in the same area but still.)

@@ItzaRob yeah I know it’s way too sad and stupid. I hate their CEO. and plus more kids nowadays are scared of the animatronics (my little half sister being one of em) but yes it’s sad cuz they only know dance floor. I just meant to say I like this version of the dance floor and better than other versions
