I lived in WEHO when the Abbey began as portable coffee and tea cart in the corner of parking lot of a dry cleaner. Over the years it moved across the street to its current location which was originally a store with a large fenced in outdoor patio that had garden furniture and statuary on display. The Abbey then expanded over the entire patio and began selling alcoholic beverages in addition to coffee and tea. Then over the years kept reinventing itself and expanding to what it is now. From small acorns mighty oaks grow!

I was 20 y.o. when they opened the doors. The sky turned purple hue; red and orange streams embellished the whole panorama. Tall palms' peaks told me I was in the right place, in the right age. Drop me a line if you want. Now I'm miserable, in Italy. Bye
