Matsentavra was the og desert wr holder. To this day he hates kangaroo, probably because it beat all of his world records.

I think it's also because it became very easy to get a good distance now, back then getting a 40km distance was pretty impressive, and also yuzu's mines record would be very hard to beat without kanga, now it's way easier, sadly he quit :(

Funky, at a low point in your channel, where you are seemingly out of the algorithm, and you want to get back in, it is not the best idea to resort back to the video style that got you hella views in the past. If you suddenly change things during a slump in your channel, it looks like you're acting out of desperation.

He's been using like the the same general video formats for a while, it's no different for this video. That seems a bit of stretch.

His videos mostly consist of just showing different milestones, world records, and top 10 videos, which most of his new videos are sticking to. As long as hcr2 content still gets viewed he will eventually rise back to relevancy. The same thing that is occurring for him happens for commentary channels too. Sometimes they barely get any views then gain like 100k views in a day. Overall, I think this content genre is just a game of luck, you upload random stuff, maybe one video explodes and the rest perform poorly. This argument can't really be made against his content.
