In this video, I will go over the history of the Oliver 60, including specs, different versions, production numbers, and other tractors it influenced in the Oliver line.

I live in South Carolina And Have Lived here my whole life ..... In my whole life I can remember only seeing 2 Oliver tractors when I was in my early Childhood..... Both were owned by a Dairy Farmer about 5 miles from Home,. When I got of roaming age they were gone and he had Fords.......... In the early 70s a farmer about 35 miles away, opened a White Dealership.... but Deere and IH had the area saturated..... I really don"t know how long he lasted....... Farm is still there, but White isn"t

As close I got to an Oliver was dads Co-op E 3 he traded in 1960 for the first Select O Speed. Then I crushed my left foot sitting on the fender of the 8N in my profile picture by the loader arm and he traded it for another Select O Speed. Really enjoy your videos.

Thanks! It’s nice to see people are enjoying my content. It’s definitely not for everyone. Making videos is a lot of work. Glad to hear it’s appreciated 😎

The power lift was a foot breaker if you happen to accidentally hit that lever with your foot under there, as you couldn't stop it once it was activated.

I have a 1943 KD Oliver 60 ! My frame is welded

You have a KD model? That’s amazing! Talk about rare!
@karinadler2308 Жыл бұрын
@@WisconsinOliverNut I did not know they are rare. It has a magneto, no generator, no amp gauge. It does have a starter but I'm guessing it was added later. I figured it was a wartime tractor so it was no frills. The Oliver Row crop 60 is hand painted . Not sure if that's original or a repaint.
