They are already called like that. Both terms are used ( kazakh - kazakh turk; uzbek- uzbek turk etc.) But it's shorter and hence easier to say kazakh, krygyz ,azeri etc. No need to add "turk" to the end cuz everybody will understand that when u say kazakh, you mean the turks living in central asia in their own state called Kazakhistan etc. :)

Yep, we all are originally same (Turk), but of course time, region and interaction with neighbours have affected and changed cultures by time.
