YOKAI have existed since ancient times as embodiments of the inner feelings and thoughts of Japanese people, and are deeply rooted in Japanese culture. YOKAI are often seen as objects of fear and awe in Japanese folk tales and folklore, but since the Edo period, they have been depicted as the subject of entertainment works such as Ukiyo-e, and have remained familiar to Japanese people in various forms up to the present day. I'd like to introduce you to a side of the YOKAI that you may not know about.
