Nice summary. Very well put together. I apologize if I come across stereotypical. But as an American, I’ve always associated Koreans with fashion. All the Koreans I’ve encountered always paid attention to the finer details in life, dressing to impress. It’s an intriguing, complex culture for sure. Oh yeah, the food 🌶 is jamming too!

Great video, Sienna! I do wanna point out that the hippie counterculture movement was at its height in the mid to late 60’s, not the 70’s as most people would think. And hippie fashion was more than just bell bottoms. It also incorporated a lot of floral and psychedelic prints. Not sure if Koreans adopted those aspects or if that was just a western thing. Lastly, disco fashion and music were only popular in the 70’s. The 80’s fashion trends that we all know and love (windbreakers, bright neon colors, acid washed mom jeans, etc.) are mainly labeled “New Wave”. Anyways, keep up the interesting and educational content 💜
