This hair tutorial really helped me out a great deal, I'm cosplaying as Tauriel at comic con and the wig i was supposed to get was already supposed to be braided, but it didn't so i have to learn that braid in which you showed here. I just wanted to say without your video I would be hopeless to figure it out. Thank you so much, you're awesome!!!!

I did this hairstyle for a banquet at my school. It went really well with my green dress but I wish I had red hair.

I've never had a fishtail braid make more sense. I was never able to do one because I was trying to hold four individual strands! I'm definitely trying this hair style now that my hair is longer!

Excellent, excellent job!! Not only is my hair poker straight, it is baby fine, which makes keeping it in ANY braid a headache, but I have found that if I spritz it with a 50/50 solution of water and Aussie volume gel. You did a great job.

Im a guy with long hair, and thanks to you I have learned how to braid! it was tough at first and my arms ached, but now I am getting really good at it and I love it because now I have more hairstyle options besides loose hair, manbun, and a simple lower ponytail. My little sister has super long red hair, so when I found this and my hair was too short for the braids, I convinced her to let me try it on her. It turned out really good! I have just started getting into braiding and I thought this one looked like a simple one I was ready to take on, as soon as she started the lace braid I realized I'm not there yet. I wondered about what all was going to be involved and then I saw all the information including how much time it will likely take. This channel and Milabu are my favoites for learning to braid (I also have fine hair). I'm not ready for this braid, but I'll be back for this video soon. Thanks for this awesome channel!!!!

I just love it! I just had my hair done yesterday for my Childhood Friend's wedding like Tauriel! :) and had Kili's exact hairclip placed in the middle. My hair is dark though. since it was a wedding, and we were rushed, I had it done by someone. However,! I'm teaching myself as well! :D

Practice practice! That's all I can suggest haha. It took me a while to be able to braid as cleanly as this, and I'm still pushing myself to do better.

Lovely, but I'll admit to being a bit lazy and the hair though long (waist length) is thin, so I'll probably cheat and just do three strand braids put following the tying method to get the look. But still it helps to see how it was really done.

is there a specific kind of the bedhead I noticed they had a couple different choices for smoothing serums and I've never used a product like that i have very straight thick hair but when i braid it I def have the baby hairs that need to be smoothed down. Thanks so much!

This one is called After Party I believe. If your hair is thick though, you may be better off with pomade or hairspray.

Probably, but it will take some organization. I practiced that one a lot on myself and I decided that I just don't have thick enough hair for it. I'll film it though if I can find a friend with thicker hair and the patience to let me style it for them!
