I don't think that Lee is bored on this. In fact, I think he is himself ! Relaxed and smiling, he's joking too... No, I think he enjoyed that moment with Richard ! In all (or almost) the other interviews (not just about the hobbit), he's too serious, too professional (this is my opinion). I love seeing him so natural :)

I actually almost cried when Lee called himself boring. Gods that man... He just... Ffs I can't even. I want to go back in time and back stage and hug him after that. Lee could never be boring.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I mean richard may be the one with the sexy accent. But Lee has a rich smooth deep tone to his voice which is wonderful too.

Gem Sherwood I love Lee's voice. his voice is one of the reasons Lee was cast to play stuntman Roy in movie "The Fall". the producer & director Tarsem said he liked his voice on the Director Commentary on the DVD.

I am old now and these books I first read as a child the one thing that shook me as an adult was how accurate this was to my own view was staggering. I own all the books and films and I bow to all involved for their role in this experience for myself

I know right. Even books aside, I never talk about or expose myself to possible spoilers until I've seen the whole thing, wether it be a series or a film... I think people should know by now that you don't attend panels or interviews unless you know all there is so far, and only want to add to that knowledge by hearing the actors' thoughts and ideas.

I admire both of these actors, and I am a Tolkien nerd who has read every word the man ever wrote. Lee Pace's screen time was the most stunning and beautiful in the film trilogy. That little book should not have been three movies, in my opinion. Finally, much as I admire him, I couldn't quite buy the amazing Richard Armitage as a dwarf.

Am I the only one who thinks these two make such a perfect couple?? They are two of my favorite actors and 'if' they're still together...makes me happy :) They both are such down to earth, very cool guys!

P KC Exactly the same I feel for them even when I didn't heard of any rumours! First time I watch them in hobbit! started liking the character they played and of course their voices, acting! then search about them,suddenly thought came to mind, they can be very good friends.

There photos hanging out together had been on the net the same year the movie was released. And since Lee Pace is gay and Richard Armitage was kind of outed by Ian McKellen it's a safe assumption to make. Though I don't think they are still together.

@@AlexandraVioletta Yes. He seems aloof. But I enjoyed his character Thranduil very much. Thorin Oakenshield is my favorite character. I could definitely hangout with Richard at a small local restaurant in London, have a good meal and wine. In interviews I've watched of Richard in relations to The Hobbit movies, he seems very down to Earth and comfortable in his own skin. Lee Pace, not so much.

It's difficult not to look arrogant when you are taller and more beautiful than anyone else. Plus, there were endless internet stories suggesting that Richard Armitage, who had a girlfriend, was bisexual and in a relationship with Lee. His first agent dropped him a year after Pace told him he was queer. As Lee Pace was outed, redefined himself as bi and queer, his interview demeanor evolved. He seems comfortable in his body now. He laughs and smiles all the time in interviews and comes across as extremely likable. Frankly, he seems less afraid to be big and gorgeous. And he married his also-gorgeous partner of several years. Look for kids.

Also this. An aloof guy doesn't post pics of himself with his-unglamorous parents working on their farm. Hanging out with his sibs, nieces and nephews.On his own farm with his chickens. I think Lee thought some or all of the questions were stupid. He even commented why do people ask that one question about what items the actor takes at the end of the project.
