Billy Strings is a monster in his own right, but the gentleman on the mandolin is a beast too.

Everyone is focused on Billy, while Don is laying down some sick lines and chops! Two absolute pros.

What blows me away is that he is a really good singer too! His pitch is dead on. Good ear and sings with passion. There are a lot of great guitarists that can not sing. There are some that sing decent. There are very few that sing well. He's even a good songwriter. That amount of talent is very rare.
@SophieMia8063 жыл бұрын
And most likely no auto-tune like a lot of the artists these days. I would much rather listen to Billy Strings than any of the pop or hip-hop celebrities any day. He's got pure talent all the way around.

I knew Jack Bonus that wrote this. We lived in Stinson Beach by the Rowans, Grisman, Garcia, Commander Cody, etc. Jack told me that a hobo cursed him after he was mean to the hobo. How Jack hated that hobo! Well, Jack became that hobo, asleep out in the hall. He came and crashed at my house in Maine for a month. Last I heard, he died in a tent behind the Forest Knolls library. RIP Jack Bonus.

So I've been scrolling down all these comments looking for the one wise soul who knows to share attributions. I am SO grateful! My husband's gone now to his peaceful rest. Love how music gives us time travel! And LOVE how Billy knows ALL the great songs! My son gifted me a listen to Billy and I am forever hooked.

I can just imagine you teamed up with Allison Krauss & Bella' Fleck, and keep Don - he doesn't miss a lick! That would just blow my ever lovin' mind. Yes, I do believe that could get Ralph Stanley to rise from the grave! And every man, woman and child would climb shred mountain bare foot and without water just to get a listen! Sure would like to see that happen! Keep picking. RIP Ralph & Roy. And smile down on this new boy! EVEN MY DOG IS HAPPY!
