Alright, let's do this one last time... First, we helped a spoiled brat Samuel through his manual adventure and become a better man. Second, we fixed that whole mistake regarding Bjørn Hammerparty's place in the afterlife. Now, our job is to help Cassiel, the angel of celerity, stop the destruction of heaven and by extension, the apocalypse from a mess that we (and by we, I mean Sam and Death) might've accidentally caused... Worst. Tuesday. Ever! Death, looks like we need your help again and we need to go kick a certain someone's ass...again.

I really dig the casual vibe of this game. Especially happy to see Death return.

This game looks very funny. It reminds me of the "Monkey Island" series, but with dark humor, some platforming & a time-traveling mechanic which you can use to solve puzzles, fast forward to certain times without waiting, redo things & conversations & every time she rewinds back in time, she throws up which is pretty funny. The funniest part I liked when Peter tells you his biggest secret, which his real name is "Simon", & when the hero Cassiel became so pissed off by that & then "BOOM", Heaven's destroyed the next second, & you have to rewind all the way back to the start. I laughed so hard from that I cried. The comedy is done pretty well in this game.

The opening had me rolling my eyes a little bit, but once the gameplay picked up it was just like Manual Samuel! I really liked the aesthetic of Heaven as well, with all the graffiti and broken architecture. The voice acting was also top notch, everyone was very expressive! My only critique is that in some places the voice lines didn't match up with the words onscreen, but that's an easy fix before the final release.

God got so bored he decided to destroy heaven, realized he could get more entertainment if he chose some random angel to save it through trial and error. and he made sure to put an absurd amount of problems in the angels way.

Dunno if I like the introduction to the time travel mechanic gameplay, it reminded of how Life is Strange introduced it in a far more simpler and intuitive way, without overly long tutorial dialogues.

Great acting. The lead slightly reminded me Mariner from Star Trek's "Lower Decks" and the overall setting the works of Neil Gaiman. Absurdly enjoyable.

I liked it before when they said "Feces" instead, it was more iconic.

i feel like this would have been stylistically topical about ten years ago but as it is, the art and writing and acting really feel stale. but the production is really professional and polished and clearly a ton of love and hard work went into it

Ooph. The main character is great but that Jamie Kennedy Azriel character is as grating as ever. Manual samual was OK up to a point but that voice just ruined the whole thing. "Aight" (and biz.) Eurgh.

Can you make sure to mention that it is a demo in the title because now i need to wait for the full game to come out. Yeah its in the info but no one reads that till after the video. Title is important.

Man, what a game. Not only does this game (apparently) not have an excessive amount of light-skinned people, it has characters without clear genders, dogs go to Heaven, and angels are regularly blaspheming against their Lord and savior. Apart from the religious jokes, the attention to detail in the environment and characters is astonishing. For example, the eyes. The PC's eyes narrow when their direction is unclear, like when they're wandering around the map looking for something to do, but they become open and focused when you have a clear goal in mind. 8:30 I have no idea what's going on with these stained-glass "windows", but it's pretty neat that the one depicting light produces light...it's just kind of weird that it's a mural of Cassiel and Puriel chilling on the bench. Having been interested in theoretical physics recently, I can't help but think that these windows are portals to parallel versions of Heaven. I LOVE the fact that, right outside your apartment building, are a couple of neighbors who are shooting the shit, and whose conversation is apparently so long and involving that it lasts the full duration of the game (I can only assume that they'll keep talking until Doomsday as an obvious means of distraction). If this was my first playthrough, I would have spent all of my time sitting around, listening to their conversation to try and glean some deeper clue...or to see how long it lasts, just to see the level of detail within the game world. The fact that this game involves time travel means that more time-consuming moments like this are going to be throughout the game. Sure enough, later on the PC encounters an old bureaucrat who insists on doing everything in order and by the book; when ABG interrupted him mid-sentence, I immediately knew his lips were going to clamp shut to punish impatient players. Just looking at the tall podium, the mountain of paperwork, and the tiny old fart, I was immediately reminded of Futurama's bureaucratic nightmare fuel, knowing full-well that this old geezer was going to REQUIRE the player to witness the exact...same...boring...conversation...every...time. Hilarious. Any video game that has a specific genre, like time travel, that adds extra levels of stress to compound with the concept of having both limited time and unlimited time reversals, is going to be an amazing experience. I love memory games, but I truly, utterly DESPISED the film Groundhog's Day, so I give this game a try...if I can get over my Groundhog's Day PTSD...

I wish the whole "Biblically Accurate Angel" meme would die in a fire. It's like pointing to 70s disco attire and calling it "20th Century Accurate Fashion", and doing it over and over and over and over again. It ignores stuff like all the normal-looking dudes with special powers (which means by the mode average, the protagonist is more "biblically accurate" than the Eldritch Abonimation-looking ones), or the stork-winged women from Zecchariah 5:9. And what really peeves me off (aside from the insistence on saying "biblically accurate angel" every goddamn time, instead of at least referring to them as the Cherubim/Ophanim that they are), is that much of the time, they aren't even "biblically accurate".

the irony of characters in heaven saying god damn and hell all the time is not lost on me, and annoying as it is so is the video, well cant always hit bangers.

I hate everything about this game. The Google approved vector style art, the low effort characters, the unfunny sjw humor, the terrible voice acting, and it barely passes for a video game.
