The only thing about this is that when we say they are the holy Trinity. Well, you could make a similar case to say that JLC Eterna Watch company and breguet are a holy trinity. All three brands are strongly influential in the watches we have today we would not have many of the movements we now have.

AP is only in business thanks to their RO, of which they make so many gaudy ones. One trick pony company nowadays. ALS is far more deserving of a spot here…but I’m guessing there’s a bias because they’re not Swiss. I personally don’t buy the whole Swiss=best marketing nonsense

Hey, thanks for sharing your opinion! Sure the royal oak takes the biggest spot in the general population, but we've had some beautiful vintage AP's that make me disagree and think they deserve a spot at the top. From ultra thin and finely crafted oval shaped dress watches from the 70's to diamond set 34mm pieces from the 50's. But I think you're right in saying that high quality watches don't necessarily have to come from Switzerland. There are many alternatives nowadays, but in the vintage world there was hardly any competition on the market before the 70s. ;)
