I am again going through this video to renew my look at Monk's house as I am reading the biography of Mrs.Virginia Woolf by Hermione Lee. So good to see the downs which Woolf loved so well.

Feminist obsession with V. Woolf has to stop. OK. She did her bit. But she was no Proust. The precious arrogance of Bloomsbury gets my goat. We really do have to get this self-indulgent clan into perspective. None of them was a half-decent painter. Just Cezanne imitators.
