It's funny you are in Madina, but the Salafi aqeedah discourages Muslims from going to Madina during Hajj as a bidah. They contradict centuries of Islamic understanding. They also claim when you send the Salam to the Nabi, sallaho aleh waSalam, he is not alive in the grave and he cannot hear your invocation. If Sufis oppose Qur’an/Hadith by falling into shirk or innovations, then these are impermissible. I’m not certain of exact difference between 2021 Sufi and 1021 Sufi. What’s certain though, is that using philosophy to explain matters of the religion is not from the Prophet ﷺ nor His companions رضي الله عنهم. Ahlus sunnah do not need mathematics or geometry to prove that Allah عز و جل exists. Ahlus sunnah uses Qur’an and Sunnah to prove that Allah عز و جل exists. As opposed to Sufis who place human constraints on Allah عز و جل in order to explain what makes sense to their limited minds. Sufis have adopted Greek philosophy to explain attributes of Allah, which is a deviant approach.

I am Afghan, we have suffered for 40yrs coz after we defeated British colonial empire on 3 occasions, they took it away our areas and gave to british India which later Pakistan inhereted #DurandLine so for this Pakistan destroys Afghanistan so that it can never be in a position to take it back, thats why Pakistan supports Taiban but also is ally of America in war on terro. Similarly Kashmir is helped by Pakistan coz India is Pakistan's enemy and Pakistan wants to annex Kashmir while India helps Afghanistan coz Afghans have bad history with Pakistan. We Afghans also suffer from Sufism due to our proximity/influence with Iran. Someone like Sheikh Mohammed ibn Wahab needs to change the whole education system in these countries, bring in books from Wahabism and translate it to local language and make part of educational system in schools, this is the only way the region can exercise true Islam.

Yes it is intercession, because thats how the first humans did shirk. From our rivayat (stories) we know that shaytan made the people before Prophet Nuh (AS) to make pictures/idols of pious Muslims and made them pray to them to intercede with Allah. This was the first instance of shirk. Now can you see the resemblance to asking a dead person to shirk? But asking a person to make dua for you is different, unless one really believes that this persons dua is accepted more than yours! Allah u Alam... Hopefully we dont commit shirk!

He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. Yeah, there's no problem, as it's part of the Sunnah and doesn't constitute grave worship. The problem as he stated is when people start to perform acts of worship (calling on the dead for prayers or asking for their prayers etc.)
