Seeing the horsemen as faces in this era was like seeing Ghidorah from the Godzilla franchise as a heroic monster...it was surreal.

My theory is, as weird as this might sound, Sting joining the horsemen and to have them turn on him the way they did was to ultimately set Sting up to be a main eventer and to help establish him as the face of WCW...if thats what it was then they did a hell of a job

The title of this video should be called "The Set-up" because that's exactly what they did with Sting here. They set him up for what would take place weeks later.

4 Horsemen were better as heels. Sting didn't fit in with the Horsemen. When Flair teamed up with Sting you knew it was just a matter of time before Flair double crossed Sting.
