My favourite episode of campaign2 so far. Caleb & Jester dancing has one of the best character moments of the series, but the mental image of Molly & Nott dancing is straight up fudging adorable. Almost makes you picture if the other two joined in, or at least tried to. Fjord and Beau standing there watching the four of them, before Fjord turns to Beau, shrugs, and holds his hand out to her... before Beau just straight up punches him in the fucking forearm. 😂

Okay, but the fact that Matt keeps answering, “Yes?” to Sam at the start just warms my SOUL. Even when his friends are screwing him over, he’s still so patient and gentle. ACK, I’m not ready for these Caleb feels-

I love how much nicer everyone is being to each other at this point in the campaign, it’s super wholesome, especially this episode. There were multiple little cute moments between Nott and Molly and they used to not get along very well so that was super cute to see.

Caleb saying “I’ll defer to the group” is a fancy way of him saying “I trust you guys on what you decide, and I’m willing to help.” It’s subtle, but even in what sounds like resignation, he sees them as family. They have gone from untrustworthy strangers to a family unity and it’s beautiful. His social transformation is my favorite so far.

I know I´m super late to the party, but that moment with the kids and Kiri and her musicbox made me tear up. I could really see it in my head. Just a bunch of children, finding a moment of actual childhood in the midst of war, hunger and the empire. Damn you, Matt, for making me feel things.

I love how Fjord, the well-traveled sailor, is completely inadequate in bed and Jester, the isolated child, is a monster in the sheets.
