I'm a tech entrepreneur and I've been a advocate of Trello for several years. But I had stopped using it recently. Makes me want to get back into it. The simplicity of it is the key.

Very informative Terry. I’ve always found it interesting that certain individuals have found a quiet pleasure in rolling their sleeves up and spending long hours at work. No fanfare or showing off, no Instagram incentives, just patient endeavour. Reading a passage from Samuel Pepys diary recently I found this quote: ‘Up, at the office all the morning, and at noon home to dinner, where I find my cabinet come home, and paid for it, and it pleases me and my wife well. So after dinner busy late at the office, and so home and to bed.’ Fascinating to note that this trait seems to transfer to different time periods and circumstances. While I don’t work in the same field as yourself, I find the process to which you work (which you describe as boring) motivating and I for one would enjoy more content of a similar nature.

I'm a legal secretary & definitely time management is vital. I love the methods you use. Sometimes things come up and throw time management out 🤣( usually daily) but I love what I do so it helps! I need to try your suggestions!

I've done eighty hour weeks, and more, in a job I loved, and it felt good, and I prospered. I have to say, take care to give yourself some real time off, and shed some stress. Balance it out a bit.

I'm not a solicitor but my line of work is similar in some ways (it's office based and we have clients and have to work to deadlines) and everyone always tell me I'm working all the time! We use another tool like Trello as well. So that's why I was interested in watching this video. Thanks for uploading.

Good video again Terry, always interesting to in see how people organise their work in a busy environment. I remember you said before that you were using Pomodoro. Have you stopped that now and what have you replaced it with?

Thanks. No, I still use Pomodoro technique and work in 25 minute bursts.

I used the Pomodoro technique when studying years ago and decided to start using it again for the admin part of my work after seeing your video a while back. It definitely makes big difference 👍🏻

@@patrickduggan2616 They have Dragon Legal _Anywhere_ which is subscription based, €700 per year approximately and you can use the app on the phone also. As an alternative solution, one could use Dragon Professional _Individual_ which is a once off payment (€500 approx) *and* purchase a separate legal vocabulary plug-in (Medingle+Legal approximately €400) or Spellex Legal for UK/Ireland legal.

No case management software, but we use CORT for contracts and replies to requisitions

No, seldom. It is not time efficient or cost effective for me to be going to court, to be honest.

Generally within a week, but you should ask your solicitor when the sale is going to complete. That is when you get the keys, when the sale completes

@@terrygorry my drawdown date is scheduled for tomorrow.Hoping to hear from my solicitor next week so I can get the keys and move in.There is no one living in the house either hoping to move in soon once Sale is complete.
