The Housemartins were only active from 1983 to 88, and this song came out in Nov of 87, the day before my 18th birthday. I remember hearing the band on our alt radio station while in college, but don't remember this song. It's so well-sung but simple and pure, almost like a throwback to 60s folk music. Great quality remaster.
