The originals always seem to be the best. However, Jacoby does a great job and is actually very well in sync with The Hu in this video. Which also happens to be from the movie The Retaliators, which he also plays in. That is why you see an American flag and not a Mongolian flag. The area is in a scene from the movie. This song is also on the soundtrack for the movie as well. I personally think it's amazing to see different people from different areas of the world coming together in a positive way.

I took a DNA test awhile back to find out my lineage. Much to my pleasant surprise, I found out I'm 40% Mongolian. It leaves me a trail of unanswered questions as I was told my lineage was completely different. With that being said, I'm embracing that lineage and came across these guys. I absolutely love them

Supposedly, 1/4 of Earth's human population is genetically linked back to Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun's Empires. I don't agree that the gentleman's claim was that HE was related to G. Khan. But, to the Mongolian genetic heritage. Which IS rather valid. I think "Professor Paleo-Geography" was more eager to pontificate his " back-o-cereal box" obvious.. land bridge theory, rather than share in the enthusiasm the music of The HU has inspired apparently. From someone relating to the band via their genetically connected heritage to older ladies and others stating how the music invigorates their mind , body... Soul? There is a multitude of positive vibes here that run the gamut. I just love the message and feel and freshness of what's being created by them!!

New music every year and a half or so, including #1’s on the rock charts & streaming platforms, plus packed show after show on relentless touring & festival schedules. Most people who don’t like or know them usually end up leaving their live shows as fans. There’s a reason everyone wants to tour with them and do collabs with them…their audience isn’t just people who were teens or older in the late 90’s early 2000’s. It’s full of young, new generation rock fans too. Hate ‘em all you want, but this new music of theirs about to drop (2 songs already pre-released) looks to be pretty damn good once again.

When my body hurts I remember Wolf Totem and the All Powerful HU CHANT I am quickened and I can get up and work. I have seen them live. I do not understand a single word they say but gad I had goosebumps the whole time. I do not like watching concerts because crowded places make me anxious. I went to watch them and one of the best things I have seen and heard in my life. They are so amazing and powerful live! I will watch them again kf they come back to Dublin.
