i agreed. i finished watching My Mister (again) last week and thought of having a break for K-Drama so that the good feelings from watching My Mister would linger a little while more. I just cant believe when i heard the news of his passing. RIP Lee Sun Kyun. Such an inspirational figure and actor. A warm and mysterious man indeed. Miss him already. 🥺

What a gentleman this Ahjussi was. He could’ve easily taken advantage of her considering that she was already worshipping him and was willing to lay down her life for him. I bet he was in love with her, as much as she was with him, but being the responsible gentleman that he was, he never once let it become a hindrance and curb her growth. He protected her, nurtured her and empowered her so that she can learn to fly once again to find herself and reach her true potential and therefore find her own happiness. I am sure they both will once again meet at a time when the romance has a chance, but otherwise also they both forever belong together in each others corners for the rest of their lives- as true soulmates!

I had an experience like that : I was in my early 20's and was helped in a crucial moment by a man who was 25 years older. He helped and protected me and I worshipped him. He became something of a riend and never took advantage of the situation. I am still grateful for what he did for me even though we drifted apart.

In the end I really love how this drama shows that relationships and love doesn't have to be in the form of romance. Yes, I want them to be together but that's not the point of the show. Like what the grandma said; they have a special relationship. My Mister is a masterpiece. This hug is soo cute tho. IU is so smol😍

we have faild to save him ... his death resmble my mister but with different ending , he took his own life as he was planning to do in the show , and its all beacuse of the system , i cant beleive he is gone now , he was such a place of comfort with his words and actions throughout the show , the type of man that the world needed it , but we failed to save him .

It may not have been the romance story 'some people' didn't want...but romance was there and I love how at the end there was a possibility for it too!!! My Ahjussi will forever be in my heart, like my lovely IU XD

This was not a romance but it was definitely a love story. The acting was excellent and the chemistry of the entire cast was top notch. I love this series beyond measure. and if you really watch the last scene and pay attention there is a clue that they have a future together. so good, I miss them.

right person, wrong time. they wanted to protect each other. they had a rough life which made them close, but they can’t have a romantic relationship because dong hoon already has a family and ji an has way more to go. but i guess that’s what makes this drama a fucking reality type of kdrama. you don’t always get what you want and what you expect and it’s fine. ji an believed in reincarnation and she wished to be reborn again to meet him again and meet the people made her feel like a family.

Being in love with an ajusshi is so hard and heartbreaking, you feel like you're in and out at the same time, because you want to be with this person so bad but you know that the end won't be good at all

He definitely love her. But when you are a righteous person, you won't just simply abandon your marriage for another woman. And we all know he is a good guy. Though he never said he loves her, we can't miss it if we look at how he treated her. In the end of the drama, he turn and look at her. not just lee ji an.. That's love right there.

I read somewhere that the English translation was wrong at the end. In the last scene Park dong hoon said 'mother of my child ' instead of 'my wife ' which means he divorced his wife. The translators did not translate this crucial word correctly hence there's so much confusion. The last scene shows the starting of their romance. They did end up together.❤❤
