I just think that it sucks that he wasn't "bulletproof," or had that "incredible (pardon the fully intended pun) healing factor," in these episodes; but man it was great watching this every Friday night after the Dukes of Hazzard on CBS!

As someone who never grew up in the 70's, I myself actually really like this show and it has been a reason I've been growing more interest in banner, even if I still prefer Thor Odinson myself.

70s, 80s gave such great tv series like the incredible hulk, six million dollar man, bionic woman, the fall guy, the a team, mcguyver, knight rider, and so on that still cant be beaten. golden period.

Kenneth Johnson did a great job on this series. He steered away from the classic Marvel Hulk and made the character of Banner into more of a Jean Veljean character from Les Miserables.

@@3912James It was always a mystery that the Hulk's muscles grow huge enough to tear out of any clothing David was wearing but somehow other than a few tears his pants always still fit. It would probably have been more realistic that the Hulk transformation would tear his pants off as well and leave at most the remnants of David's underwear looking like a set of bodybuilder competition trunks. I am not sure though how comfortable Lou would have been running around as the Hulk in a pair of revealing bodybuilder competition trunks.

@@henrygarcia39 Alas, this one would not be among them unless the entire thing was his transformed state. Bill Bixby, who plays David Banner, died some time ago. Lou Ferrigno, who played the Hulk, is still alive and could appear though.

Both Li Sung episodes are kind of 'meh' to me but this is a really good Hulkout. Plus after this is one of the only times David refers to his other self as the Hulk rather than the creature.

@@kevinskywalker5539 Actually, I just checked and yeah that's metal. My bad. It could be that the metal portions that the flesh is touching is not smooth and as such, if you scrap it too fast, it would scratch you. That's what I'm seeing atm.

@@kevinskywalker5539 yes, at least he looks like the COMIC VERSION of hulk. LOU FERRIGNO would go on to voice THE HULK in the 1996 animated series, which was a part of the marvel shows ERA on fox kids like iron man, SPIDERMAN and X-Men.

Here is the story on the stockings...The production crew was starting to worry that the shoes were too noticeable. So, someone came up with the idea of wearing stockings. They put them on Lou/Hulk. Hulk moves. Rip. Lets try that again. A new pair of stockings on the Hulk. Hulk moves. Rip. The stocking idea gets scrapped after that.
